"Where the hell are we?!" Sergeant Kelly shouted.

"Demenix 2! We came here to rescue our squadmate, Storm X." KylinRage replied.

"I think we have a problem. My teleporter just warped me into your spaceship. Do you guys have a mechanic?"

"Bulska's our man, that's his spaceship by the way."

"Oops, sorry about that. The damage isn't too bad, I'm sure if we scouted around this Cryon base we could find some parts for it. That's a nice spaceship, Bulska. What model is it?"

I'm back in the game, kinda.

"If we're ever going to get off this rock, we'll need to find some spare parts for this spaceship. I say we split up. There's a hatch back here that I think leads to a maintenance tunnel. If two of us go down and three stay back, we should be able to find the parts and not get the spaceship destroyed. Who wants to go down with me?" Sergeant Kelly asked.

nevermind me being back in the game...

Storm X, realized that one of the parts the spaceship needed, was his heart, he tore out his heart and died... again.

OOC - Err.. Can we stay on the Cryon mission for a bit longer? Writing the intro as to why Sergeant Kelly is once again somehow with the Runestorm team is a bit time consuming.

I wrote a big piece, but then when I posted it, it couldnt find the page and now its erased... well then, ill start again.

(Right after when Storm asks for the Katana)

"Storm X, here's the katana!"
And he kicks it out of the dirt at Storm, as he grabs it out of the air a Cryon approached Bulska ready to strike.
Bulska dodged his attack and shreaded the Cryon apart with his fifty-9's. Whilst running to his spaceship he yells out to everybody.
"I'm going to check up what is wrong with the space ship. And I've designed the model myself, I call the ship 'Haste'"
Bulska hopped into his pilots chair and went checking ship status and damage reports. He found no problems in weapony, power or electronica. He started up a automatic damage report, and found the fuel processing unit disfunctioning. Bulska was about to stand up as he saw a big cryon approaching the team from front, he sat back quickly, checked up his missle-bay and launched one missile at the big cryon. It dissapeared in flames as the missile exploded before his feet.
Now lets see whats wrong with that fuel procesing unit... we might need to get out here quickly.
As he got by the damaged component, he saw that the fuel processing unit was completely destroyed with no way of fixing it. He crawled back out and jumped out of the space ship ready for combat, only to see the coast is clear.

"Hey guys, the fuel processing unit is completely destroyed, I have no way of fixing it. We need to find a DX-17 FPU which are used quite much, I'm guessing the Cryon have one in their engineering storages but I'm not sure. We better take a look"

(Sgt kelly tells his stuff.)
(next thing I say is real now )

"I'm going with you guys down there, as I would recognize the FPU fairly quickly. Also, I'm very usefull indoors. I'll try to get a connection with the intercom and controls of the space ship, so I could control weaponry, power influx and shielding when I'm gone... I just hope there won't be much interference. In any case, the turrets target and shoot any Cryon in sight, automaticly."

"Thanks for the packs, Kylin. You're going to be up here all alone, will you be able to hold back their troops?" Sergeant Kelly asked as he pushed open the heavy steel hatch.

"I'll try, just come back quickly." Was the response.

"Here, take this in case your machine gun jams. The UAC Defense Pistol has helped me out in many tough situations. I never go on a mission without it." Kelly smiled and tossed the pistol to Kylin. "Good luck."

Climbing down the hatch, Sergeant Kelly switched on his Envirosuit's flashlight. It was dark and wet down there. Hopefully the battery would last the trip. Jumping down the last few rungs, the rusted steel floor rang as he ran to the safety of a steel crate.

It was your generic maintenance tunnel. Pipes ran across the walls and ceiling, metal grating covered a hard steel floor and everything had a dank and rusted look. In the distance, Kelly could hear generators and gears. Signaling the other men forward, he crouched along the walls.

"Crack! Crack!" Two bright muzzle flashes illuminated the tunnel. Groaning, Kelly fell to the floor. The two small projectiles in his chest and leg felt like miniature shards of ice. He attempted to crawl away as the maintenance Cryon re-cocked his pistol and aimed. Cryon weren't known to miss twice.

Groaning and bleeding from his two wounds, Sergeant Kelly barely heard the large overhead entry hatch sliding closed. Looking up, he saw the familiar face of Storm X staring down at him. He was sealing them in. There was no compassion in his eyes. Without his heart, the organic components of his brain must have died off; leaving the Cryon mechanical parts in charge.

"Th.. anks..." Sergeant Kelly tried to say as he staggered to his feet. "I think... we h-have a... problem..." he muttered as he pointed to the now sealed off entrance.

The shots fired by the Maintenance Cryon had gone clean through his reinforced steel and kevlar Envirosuit. The suit had been designed to completely stop low-to-medium grade firearms. Pulling a medkit out of one of the two supply packs, he applied it and staggered over to the now-offline robot. It had been carrying a massive two-shot magnum. He picked it up and fired at a pipe, the bullet severed it completely.

"So much... for armor..." He whispered.

"Damn it, the entry hatch is closed," I told myself. I looked at Sgt. Kelly to make sure he was alright. He didn't look too good after getting shot by that Cryon.

I wanted to get back onto the surface, but now the hatch was shut tight and we can't get the hell out.

Something didn't feel right. Something dangerous was coming. I held my position, waiting to see what it was...

EDIT: I changed the post so that it fits with the part that the hatch closed.

OOC: Wait, isn't Storm X dead/evil?

Not one to sit back and watch, Sergeant Kelly staggered out of the Medical Bay cot and went out to help guard the spaceship. At the sight of the 5 Cryon soldiers, he froze.

Slowly retracing his steps, he headed for the ship's generator. A heavy switch labeled "Discharge" caught his eye. He pulled it with all his remaining strength before collapsing to the floor.

His effort payed off, a 1.4 million Megavolt EMP charge blasted out of the ship. The 5 Cryon guarding Kylin fell to the ground; their circuits all fried.

We went further down the tunnel and came across a steel hatch. I tore off the door and found it lead to another tunnel. We started walking left.

All seemed clear, but I drew my assault pistol and held it ready, something just didn't feel right.

My shoulder lamp flickered and I heard an odd noise. It sounded like hundreds of legs skittering. I looked down to find the floor moving with small, many legged creatures. I took a step back and felt something crunch and squish under my armoured boots. I looked at the walls, then the ceiling... It was all covered with these things...

I tried to move, but my legs just didn't seem to work. I looked down and saw the things covering my lower body and they were quickly piling up.

"Bulska! Get the hell outta here!"




Well, I'd not say he's dead, but I just got there, so I wouldn't know.

I thought he ripped his heart out.

So, in an effort to keep him in the story, I made his mechanical parts take over due to lack of blood flow to the organic components.

Yeah. And me, as a the character in the story, wasn't nearby when this all happened.

Wait, Bulska was down there? Oh.

I thought a hatch down the tunnel was closed. Thats what I meant to tear open.

What is the entry hatch? Is that what we came through?

Whoops, I guess I should have been calling it the entry grate.

But yeah, by entry hatch I was referring to the metal grate that Sarge took off to go down to the maintenance tunnel. Storm placed the grate back on and then you tore it off.

I'm going to edit my posts so that things aren't as confusing.

Edit: There we go, I changed all instances of grate to hatch and gave more detail on Storm. It's only 1 o'clock here, but Jeez if I'm not tired.

I edited a few things too.

EDIT- Ah, that makes a bit more sense.

So we can safely assume Storm ran off somewhere and his whereabouts unknown since he wasn't encountered when you and Kylin returned to the ship, right?

Yup, I'm sure Storm wants to stay in his own story. Now he can play as an evil mastermind of sorts.

lol ok... I've been sleeping for 8.5 hours, and look what happened!!

Remember I'm a hacker, I have expierence welding the door and also cutting the weld. But err, its all slight confusing. We all running away from that dark pit?

If so:

"Damn bugs again..."
While running away he placed two Sentry turrets on two walls, providing cover for Xavious. The sentry turrets would shoot at the stuff around Xavious, not the stuff on Xavious. As Bulska jumped out of the dark maintainence tunnel, he saw the ship being fried by the EMP charge, along with 5 cryons.
"Oh come on! Now we're even further from home, now I gotta fix all those electronica parts too! Next time, activate the two door turrets which would take em down very fast."
Bulska walked to the space ship, hoping the EMP internal shielding had reflected most damage.
"Any other cryons around? Ah there's one!"
When he aimed at the Cryon with his fifty-9's, the Cryon was teared apart by the ship's turrets before Bulska pulled the trigger.
"Well, that was easy. Lets check up with the spaceship."

After checking all systems and damage reports, he found that only the food-materializer and some other small parts were fried, which wasn't too bad, we had food supplies in the cargohold and small parts could be fixed.
"OK people, space ship is fine. Little things are a little fried but I can fix that without the need of spare parts. Now Xavious is still down there being attacked by bugs!"

If not... well then I keep blasting my fifty-9's. Remember I can also do very fun things with doors, security systems and air ventilation (letting toxins in one specific area with closed doors, while a security turret is blasting Cryons on the other side) ^^
