So, as I'm sure most of you are aware (by my Xfire sig), I've boughten BioShock (for the PC, who the hell would want it on the 360 anyways? ) and its so bloody awesome.

The fighting is amazing, wrench smacking has never been so much fun... I even have a plasmid allowed my wrench to freeze people solid if hit enough!

The game is too much fun, as much fun as i had with Half Life 2. The story is terrific, the art deco style works great, water seeps in from every nook and cranny, and the voice acting is top notch, even the Splicers (citizens of Rapture who have gone mad from excessive use of Plasmids) quirky comments are amazing. It makes me wonder how Gears of War was so amazing... cause this seriously kicks its *** into the water then drowns it (NO FLAME WARS OVER THIS, its just my opinion).

Using plasmids is easy, just click the alt fire and you have your plasmids then click away, burning, stinging, freezing, Shocking... just to name a few. Even the weapon you get are indispensable in your fight to figure out what went wrong with Rapture.

Even the Big Daddy, Little Sister's is done amazingly well (you'll find out if you play it), with them Protecting those little girl who you can't kill, you can only harvest or Rescue them after the Big Daddy is dead (I've only harvested them, I want their Adam!), yes... thats right, these 'Little Sister's' collect Adam, the genetic material that keeps Rapture going, you use Adam to buy new or upgrade your plasmids.


All in all, I'd give BioShck a well deserved 9.8. It's defiantly game of the year material (I don't see how any other game can one up it).

So has anyone else gotten it? Would you rather Harvest or Rescue the Little Girls? But most of all, are you sane enough to brave the journey through Rapture?

Price is too steep for me at Steam. 55$, cmon, even if its this good game. I'll wait awhile to see the price go down. In the meanwhile, I can look after a new PC which would run the game smoothly.

I'm going to pick it as soon as I get the money. Since I don't have a 360 ill play it on the pc even with a few low FPS scores it runs smoothly in the demo.

But in all seriousness Bioshocks art style is amazing if any game really took me by the neck and pulled me into it this was it.

Indeed, I just so happened to finish my first jaunt into it, and boy was it great. I suggest you should all get it.

I beat the 360 version a couple days ago. Had fun the entire way.

Using the electric gel in the chemical thrower turns it into a killing machine. I tore through big daddies and even the final boss using it.

I had none of it by that time.
