This thread will be used by the devs to keep track of the bugs, and they will edit and add a status when they are busy with it (.e.g. Waiting for more info, can't replicate bug, Fixed etc.).

BASIC DESCRIPTION : Unable to log in as admin in Ballistic Conflict gametype on a dedicated server.
CATEGORY : Online gametype

DESCRIPTION : Pretty self-explanatory. When I switch to a Conflict game on my server, whether from Webadmin or map voting in-game, I find myself unable to log in as an admin. My login and password don't work in-game, and I am summarily booted out of Webadmin when I switch it. I must vote back to a different gametype or restart the server through the control panel to be able to log in once more. It should be noted that I am currently using a multi-admin system, and that I haven't tested this with the CTF Map version of Conflict. I will update this when I explore this strange bug a little more.

BASIC DESCRIPTION: Laser Sight Jamming

DESCRIPTION: Sometimes the laser sights will refuse to turn on. That's really all I know at the moment, as I haven't been able to replicate it. Will update if I ever figure out what causes it.

DESCRIPTION: Alright, here's the deal, like i changed the M806A2 at a frag value of -5, thinking, hell, it'd make it automatic, but NOOOO! I go ingame and blam! i have no M80, so i check the stats and it shows its frag value at 8. This is a really annoying bug. Must fix. And its not just for the M80, its for all BW weapons. I haven't tried this with the junk wars weapons, but somehow i have a feeling the same thing will happen.

DESCRIPTION: I just installed 2.1 and played on DM-DC-Canal and there was sometines (when looking from the bridge to the mover in the center) a huge poly preventing me from seeing half of the map. This poly moved with the mover in the center as if it were attached to it. I've never had this problem before. (I've moved from DX 9b to DX 9c since i last played UT04)

Description: When the weapon ui is turned off, I cannot get to the R9 or the S-AR weapons by scrolling, I have to hit the specific class key and tap through it until I get there. It doesn't do this with any weapons except the two new ones.

BASIC DESCRIPTION : M50 assault rifle camera view.

DESCRIPTION : When the m50's camera is placed, and you are viewing through it, if you press the behind view (third person view) key the view will go outside of the camera view. Will be able to see slightly more than able to when in normal camera view. Main problem: This works even when the camera is broken, so if you use the glitch, you will be able to use the camera to see around, even if it's broken.

DESCRIPTION : When playing on Kaboodle's server, several strange things happened. In one of the matches, the G5's target reticle continuously scrolled out to its largest size before shrinking and starting over. I was standing still and had just spawned. Unfortunately, I was unable to get a recording.



BASIC DESCRIPTION : Strange Online Bug 2 [No Firing]

DESCRIPTION : In that same match, the G5 later froze up completely. None of the buttons elicited a response. Throwing and re-picking up fixed the problem. A fellow player had the same problem with his SRS Battle Rifle. I suspect this bug might be linked to the infinite ammo minigun bug and the magnum bug listed below.



BASIC DESCRIPTION : Strange Online Bug 3 [Zoomed In]

DESCRIPTION : When following the trajectory of the G5 rocket via its camera, I pressed the special weapon key, scrolled out, and switched weapons. The SRS I eventually chose was already zoomed in. It fired as if it was unzoomed and had no scope crosshair. Pressing the iron sights button fixed this by bringing up the SRS's own scope.

DESCRIPTION : It Would Seem That Double Jumping Is Only Successful At Random...Im Not Sure If We ARE Or ARE NOT Supposed To Be Able To Double Jump, But It Seems To Happen At Random And With Random Weapons In Hand...I Have Not Found A Specific Gun Or Situation Where This Does/Does Not Occur...And I Tested My Keyboard In Regular UT2K4, And Its Not My Keyboard...

BASIC DESCRIPTION : : SAR-12 drunk walk/inaccuracy

DESCRIPTION : even if you set inacurracy scale to 0 and drunk walk to 0 this weapon is unaffected by those settings

Notes/Prederence/opinion: I liked the old backfire smoke better on the 2.0 version (shotguns, assault rifles) and pistol need backfire smoke too! i'm glad that the minigun have it in the v2.1!

The view stops moving when I equip the SAR12. Maybe there is a certain situation needed for the drunkwalk to reappear.

I've experienced this 'feature' with other weapons. When attaching/removing a silencer, activating the laser sight causes the silencer animation to stop and be replaced by a silenced, laser active held weapon. Specifically I believe I noticed this on the RS8(?) and XRS-10(?) (not sure if those are the right names). I believe this also occurred in 2.0.

BASIC DESCRIPTION : erroneous sound locations

DESCRIPTION : When playing Ballistic DM in Evolution Loadout (single player w/ bots)I noticed the sound of the Skarth side arm firing in locations where no bots were/could be. In several maps (including Deck-17, DE-Ironic) the sounds were playing near some of the corners of the map, sometimes it seemed even off of the playable area. This could have occured for other weapon sounds, but I did not notice it. (many of the bots were using Skirth side arms, and they have a distinctive sound, so it is possible that I missed the other sounds.) I play with headphones, and am used to using them to locate opponents, so this was very disconcerting.

There are some other bugs being reported in the Beyond Unreal forms.

BASIC DESCRIPTION : Red dot sight settings for D49 reset while moving it to left hand in dual-wield mode.

DESCRIPTION : While the dot thing works fine for the D49 in single mode, switching the weapons in Dual-mode resets the dot settings for the right-hand D49 (soon moving to the left), making it (almost) impossible to get a D49 in the left hand in red dot mode. With some key-press kung fu, it's possible, but a lot more trouble than it should be.



That is actually a feature, believe it or not. The devs ninja-added a double-jump and dodge-jump limiter to the game, but forgot to add a GUI checkbox to turn it on or off, or give the user some sort of visual indicator in-game. It's on by default.

To de-activate it, go to your BallisticV21.ini, search for bLimitDoubleJumps, and set it to False. Start up a Ballistic gametype, and it should be fixed.

Actually, is not the view, but the weapon who move, just activate the laser pointer and you will see what i mean

BASIC DESCRIPTION : Fifty-9 Assault Pistol melee glitch

DESCRIPTION : The firing mode affects the melee. IE Burst Fire will make it melee three times, Semi-Automatic will melee once, Full Auto will continuously melee.

BASIC DESCRIPTION : SAR scope glitch

DESCRIPTION : When you first pull out the SAR, you cock the gun and the red scope appears. If you mess around with pulling it out and whatnot, the same thing will not happen, sometimes it'll just pop on, sometimes it'll be on when you pull it out and cock it. I haven't messed around with it so I don't know all the details.

BASIC DESCRIPTION : Misaligned Iron sight LEDs
CATEGORY (Weapon/UI/Skin) : Skin
PRIORITY (High, Medium, Low) : Low

DESCRIPTION : On some weapons, the LEDs get misaligned due to the sights physically moving. The M806, for instance, when it's emptied, or the AM67 while reloading.

BASIC DESCRIPTION : S-AR15 Doesn't hit anything

PRIORITY (High, Medium, Low) : high

DESCRIPTION : While crouching, with the stock extended, using the laser sights on a stationary person at close range you'll hit that person max 50% of the time. The recoil on this weapon is more than the 353 which is a heavy weapon. This weapon becomes even more useless when standing and completely useless when in motion. Whoever did this code needs to be drop kicked in the throat with a lead shoe. I'm more acurate with the damn D49 than this piece of garbage. The S-AR should be a dominating weapon at close range, instead it acts more like a cancer patient.

I can tell you right now that posts like these are not going to make you any friends. And they definitely won't get you any changes that you want in the game. Especially the part in bold.

Moreover, this isn't really a bug. However, I am proud to say I have been modifying several of the weapons' stats to be more balanced or realistic, and am adding a few interesting features to some of them to boot. I'll make them available when I'm done with them, which should take about a week.

P.S. Firing in bursts is the key. Using the iron-sights eliminates most recoil, although that red sight thing at the front somewhat obscures this view.

P.P.S You should be more accurate with the D49. That's pretty much to be expected.

Oh, sorry about that last post. I was being a little harsh. I was just fustrated. I take back everything I said. The weapon you made is the most wonderful weapon ever. EVER! You made it pretty colours and everything. Good job kaboodles! *thumbs up*

I didn't make the weapon. I had no hand in the creation of this mod, other than minor bug reporting. And being a sarcastic cockmunch really isn't helping.

I might also add that the SAR was a consistent favorite in my server, with several (fairly competitive) players swearing by its accuracy and killing power. One claimed to have rarely missed, attaining several quick headshots with the weapon. Have you considered the possibility that you are simply unskilled with the weapon?
