Well, I was goofing around with the weapons and realized that once you've set a fire with the RX22A, you can spray fuel at it to make it bigger. Now I already knew you could spray fuel around and cause a bigger spread, but I did not know you could make the fire more intense with a prolonged fuel spray... so I got quite the nice surprise when the coronas flared brighter indicating more fire. MORE FIRE AH HA HA HA HA HA.

So I decided to have a cookout on the red tower in CTF-FaceClassic.

That map is DM-2019-XS-2006. It's a freakin' massive map.

Almost no bot support though.

The advantages of having 4 arms are immediately apparent. Dual M50s are freakin' deadly.

Nope, just wanted to see what happened if I mad the M50 a subclass of BallisticHandgun like the M806 and RS8 and the like. Seems to work fine except the grenade indicator for the left-hand gun is in the wrong place.

Heh, my dual M353s work and do single hands! But... they can't reload.

These screenies don't do this map justice though. It's a dark-as-hell mansion with a graveyard outside. The chandelier above my head (not captured) lets people swing from one balcony to the other (and bots love to use it).
Outside, the world actually changes from day to night!
Play this map in a deathmatch with nothing but the Tactical Shotgun, and prepare for mayhem. The more players, the more crazy.

Incidentally, would anyone know how to use the commands for the day/night cycle in this map and put them into others? I don't have a clue on how to use UnrealED. PM me if you want to/can help ^^

I took a look at it and the quick answer is no, the day/night effect and the damage during day cannot easily be transported to another map. However, the day/night visual effect may be done with a little work. The damage during day effect would be tedious, depending ot he map, becasue one would need to make a bunch of cubes, cylinders, etc in order to define the exact area(s) in which a player would be damaged during the day. I might be interested on trying my hand at it sometime after christmas, if you have a specific map in mind. You will need the permission of the author of DM-Unearthed to use his custom actors and of the author of any map(s) you plan on modding.

Oh nah, didn't want the damage during the day ported over. Just teh day/night cycle that had me interested.
And of course, what better map to do it on than the overused Torlan? XD

I like to end every match holding an FP7 grenade if I can. That way, I can just spam the weapon special and keep incinerating myself at the end of the game typing "I'M ON FIRE" over and over again.
