The term rock band is always subjective to change. To me, as long as it has electric guitar, drums, vocals, and bass as the main part, it's a rock band.

Hey, all i ever do is try to stick to the thread, and OMG its about ROCK Bands, not metal bands. Yes, they are similar, but all i was just trying to do was educate.

Now, I suggest that you stop acting like an all-knowing arrogant asshole and instead discuss rock bands like the others, and yes, that includes all variations of rock out there. Everything from classic to death metal. If you don't want to do that, then don't post here again, simple and effective.

As a moderator, isn't there something along the lines of upholding the rules? Because I'm seeing flaming right there, and I'm pretty sure flaming is against the rules...

apart from rock, I also like several dance songs (they fit space science fiction mostly.)

Such as Pendulum, the Prodigy, Chemical Brothers. And I think there are some others.

Gah, I suddenly remembered Sonic Mayhem. Their music for Quake 2 is fantastic. Though when I listen to their newest tracks, it sounds like they aren't the rockers they used to be.
