Can anyone help me with changing ingame bot names?.. For example if you have more than 1 model playing in a game. It randomly changes the other bots into names like Oblivion or Saladin. Is there a way to change those names? * i know it isn't a BW question, However if you know the answer plz help me* - i tried some bot managing programs already they change the whole model name entirely-

You could always go and skulk around in the UT system files,but backup anything you decide to change or your toast.Unfortunately I can't point you to a specific file for the alternates.

Google Jafo's Botmanager

The botmanager is the way to go. But you can also edit the upl files found in UT2004\System.

Yes I tried searching through the system files but no luck there. Also I have a botmanager. However the Botmanager changes the name as a whole model. I only want change names to the *DOUBLES* ingame.
EX: If you put 2 Othello Chracters ingame, One would be called Othello and the other would be Called Saladin or something random. I just want to chagne the random names. Instead of the same old random names i get thnx for replies.

Also running FULL AMMO mod with BW disables reloading with Dual. Is there a way to fix that?

Running other mods with BW may or may not cause problems. There is no real way to fix that unless you are ready to make sacrifices. Like you have to disable reloading in order to use BW with UT2004 RPG.

You can open the xplayers upl (whichever one) with a text editor, and copy the line for othello. Make a new upl called "doubles," or something, and paste that line in, but change the name to something else. Repeat with as many Othellos or other characters that you want. You should then be able to find them and add them to the bot roster in-game.

Actually,when I use BW with RPG I can have reloading untouched,maybe they fixed it?

Thnx undead i'm going to try taht right now. and it;s BW and FUll Ammo mutator since full ammo constantly changes ammo to 999. it wonlt reload when im holding DUAL WEILD. However with other guns it reloads just fine

Strange, reloading doesn't work for me with RPG enabled.

You do use RPG without magic weapons,right?
The real thing that doesn't mix between RPG and BW is magic weapons do to the fact BW is a unique class of weapon and magic weapons alters the weapon class,creating incompatibility since the BW class is so different.

Magic BW weapons work just fine for me.
I'd much rather ditch reloading than the magic feature, although I'd prefer to keep them both.

I donlt know wuts RPG but I just found out that it isnlt just Dual weilding reloading is not functioning. Also for some reason The Wilson revolver gun doesnlt reload eitehr.. it makes a click.. but no reload. The rest of the guns are fine. just wilson. Anyone know why or know how to fix this? is my Wilson gun malfunctioning x_X? use BW with FullAMMO mut.

For the Wilson you must hit reload key twice in order to reload both chambers.

same for the missile pod(peacemaker)

Reload button doesnlt work.. When i say the reload is fine. i meant it auto reloads when run out.. except for wilson.. *reload button wonlt work for any weapons*
