Just a thread to discuss it. *Any mention of weapons and guns is automatically assumed with Airsoft*

Alright, so I've already gotten myself a shotgun, which works. It was clear to begin with, but my friend Dan gave it an amazing Tiger camo paint job over it, so it looks quite awesome, I'll try and get a picture or two of it up later.

But the bigs news, is that for a while now, me and my friends (mostly Dan) have been slowly getting into Airsoft, quite a fun little past-time i find.

Our last game was last Saturday. Lots of fun, it was me, Dan, Will and Andrew vs a bunch of my other friends, we played across a street, namely 2 houses, but mostly around Will's house, which was just COVERED in at least 3 and half feet of snow, 4 in some places. Their were a few huge hills used for defense, overall it was a blast. We owned the other team, due to our amazing tactics, and that our side had 2 fully automatic R72's which Dan and Andrew used so effectively.



One poor guy had the misfortune to decide to rush Call of Duty 4 style every time he spawned back (if your hit you went back to base then continued playing), poor guy kept getting hit by Dan at point blank range in the face.

Soon I'll be getting an awesome... very sexy looking G36C soon. Ah, i cannot wait for Spring, just to get out and play some airsoft without having to bundle up in a orange winter jacket (i've been code-named Pylon), though i'll still bundle up enough so i don't get major welts everywhere.

Only thing that sucks is that since i wear glasses and i haven't any contacts, i have to ue protective goggles/ glasses and of course that screws up my vision, but not to much, even then i'm gettin contacts soon so that shouldn't stop me.

So, do any of you play Airsoft?

I probably would if I could get hold of a gun to play it and find some like minded friends, but the government stoped online orders and there are no shops that I know of that are nearby (nearest is probably London).

My brother has a rather powerful Beretta 3M shotgun, but his friend broke the mechanism, so know it has to be muzzle loaded with the cleaning rod - an obvious disadvantage.

Oh, and I wish we had snow. Every year we get promised snow from Norway or snow from Iceland, and only Scotland gets it. All we get in the south is depression after depression.

I do Have 4 airsoft guns, a beretta pistol model, MP5 model, a remington 870 model, and a M4 model.

The best ones are my pistol and MP5 because they are the most accurate, My 870 model is 2 inches off. then the M4 model sucks be cause the BB's just drop out the barrel, and i have no idea why.

I'm still looking for a replacement for my M4 model.

*Looks at G36C*DON'T BUY IT! It may be a different model, I'm not sure, but the G36C I have is CRAP! Can't travel very far, pathetic capacity, and so little power it can't even punch through standard paper at normal range. All with the hop-up on to increase range. I don't play Airsoft, mostly ecause I like to avoid bodily injury, but I do target practice. Then again, perhaps low power is better, so as to avoid injury to other playes. I use plastic balls, not metal, though, so that could be the problem as to power.

You probably have a poor intimation or a fake, for this one is a beast of an airsoft gun.

anyways, i do not go into airsoft wars (although they sound fun) i shoot cans and whatnot, also Treadhead, most likely a Imitation model, if that's the case I suggest putting back in it's case, and see if you can resell it.

It's a fake. Looking at it, while very similar, the barrel isn't fixed, it has a screw-off standard barrel for a silencer, and it lacks the small star on the side. I'm going to keep it, though, as it looks damn cool as a decoration

Edit: Huh, nice one, Kaboodles. Y'know, I never managed to figure out what the SRS900 was based off of. Need to research that....

Umm, the star on the side is a watermark Treadhead, to prevent illegal use of the image commercially.

The SRS is more or less a super new BAR (from WWII), if you've ever played CoD games, and held the BAR you'll notice the similarities quickly between it and the SRS.

Well i finally figured what's wrong with mine, Overcharged batteries, i may have to find replacement batteries.

I might get this one next.

And actually, yeah, it does look a bit like a BAR, with metal parts and a fold in stock. *Smacks self in the head, again.*

Prepare your forehead area for more smacking. The weapon is actually an M14 EBR "Enhanced Battle Rifle", not a super BAR.

First to identify the XRS-10 gets a cookie. First to identify the RS8 gets a super-cookie!

So, what. It very much looks like a modern day BAR, but whatever. Thats not the point here.

The barrel of the SRS just screams railed M14/M21.

I noticed that one right away.

The XRS seems like a modified Tec-9 (Intratec DC-9), but the barrel design throws it off.

The RS8 looks like a Smith and Wesson.

The point is YOU WERE WRONG! HAH! BUUUUURN!

The XRS-10 is indeed a TEC-9, or DC-9, or whatever name it was. I still don't know what an RS8 is.

Regular silencers are never enough.

Personally,I would love me some airsoft,but I haven't a gun nor anyone in my area(that I know)that shares that mentality. bummah.

The only decent Canadian site I can find is selling them for a good $500+. I'd like to try some Airsoft, but not at that price.

We're buying them from the US, from a website, mine is aboout 230, but it'll be upgrade and needs battery and charger, so were guessing around 380.

What site? Do they ship to Canada?
