Yup, that's one problem too, there's oftenly only one office where they are working and it's never near where you live, strangely... lol

The only one which has offices a bit everywhere and is not too hard to access is EA, for the others, you must really move if they accept to take you.

This morning the news of Doom 4 is spreading accross us quickly and Id Software want everybody to know they have jobs for motivated and experienced poeple. Isn't that a good news?

It is one hell of a news item when iD Software reveal an upcoming title. I wouldn't be surprised if every gamer in the world knew it by tomorrow.

They even say Doom is the DNA of ID Software, lol which is true !

"I cannot say anything about our upcoming title but it will be a real time strategy game with RPG elements!"

iD actually made quite a few RPGs.

But Doom 3 RoE wasn't made by iD Software. I think the ones who made that fine game were Nerve Software, under a close observation of iD of course, just like with Quake 4 and Raven.

The Soulcube is in default Doom 3, the Artifact is in RoE.
I vastly prefer the latter.

That is the soulcube, not the artifact.

The artifact doesn't do anything at first, you have to kill 3 bosses to get 3 abilities: First is slowing down time, second is your weapons doing 4x more damage and then invulnerability. The artifact needs ammo of course, and the ammo are corpses. As for usage, each time you activate the artifact its effect lasts for 10 - 15 seconds, max ammo is 3.

Oh, and you use all 3 abilities simultaneously per use, there is no choice involved.

That is a whole lot more interesting than the soulcube's "throw, kill demon and gain health boost", isn't it?
