well, remember that filefront is a piece of hell. sometimes it work, sometimes not. sometimes i go crazy and open 20 tabs(i have firefox) just to see if that works.

Yes, and also, Filefront always works excellently. I hate Fileplanet. not saying you use it, but they expect a bunch of payed subscriptions and crap for a good server, and free subscribers have utter CRAP servers.

Slowly turning to CTF... it was near done as a DM level, but I like the idea to make it CTF now. It does have a finished Arena section, and the Generator V2 is also part of this mass of a thing. I like that HUD, although i feel its taking up more space than the Ut2004 one.

You can take away that right most T and symbol thingy, as that's the Psyionics mut's doing.

ANd yes, the map is near done as CTF. I need to fix one red team base bot pathing problem. And to fix some map balances, I might remove the blue flag teleporter to be eaither farther away or non-existant. It might be too hard to exit blue base though...

It's super hard for me to get flag captures, as it will now take TRUE teamwork to beat this map, unless you get super lucky in enemy positions when you get the flag.

Somewhat. It's just that corridors don't help much when you got enemies on both sides with shotguns. That and trying to be a flag carrier on your own where you MUST go through a chokepoint that REALLY chokes the map down to a single path. I might have to change that at some point, but it works for now. Control that point and you can defend really well, or attack and then defend the attack.

so there is two bases and a central chokepoint that connects the two of them?

Sounds linear,I'd suggest a catwalk that goes over the chokepoint yet is exposed to fire from that same spot.

XD, that's the chokepoint. It's the Generator level I released a while back. However, you can go around the chokepoint slightly (you might stealth your way past if you are a gray or black armored character, if you don't have the flag). Surprisingly, the XMV850 does cover the area well, but if someone gets to a side section, they have an easier time going around the chokepoint. That and using the XMV I modded with this level takes too much ammo (you max at 450 per belt and 450 extra, which you share with all 5.56mm weaps) when you can use other weaps.

Either you could go with the catwalk thing or perhaps something like a lower and upper section with a gap down the middle for the upper section that can be shot through.

Like I said before, the chokepoint is fully finished, as it was the Generator V2 level I made. The chokepoint works very well for both attacks and defense. I need to probably play as Blue Team to check on how it is attacking Red Base. I find it easy for Red to do both attack and defend (except for the attack return part...).

So you can grab the flag and if you are lucky, make it back to your own base even playing with godlike bots?

Unless a bot is in your base attacking and then retreats to get you. That happens to me a lot.

i just aim at the head and make the killing swift and quick before that bot even gets a shot off, but if there are multiple bots then I would use a grenade or a G5. Usually then I'll die.

Problem is... well you need to just download my map. You can find it in the Showcase section. I'm also going to release the CTF map in a while.

I do release my maps in stages. It's still beta, but a near done beta. I really only need to get the Research A, Research B, Frenzy, and Control sectors done to really have it done all the way. Also I need to only fix one problem in Red Base...

when do you think it will be done?

I woulda released it by now, but I have a bit of a problem right now in map compiling... The editor just shuts down. >_>
