I agree with Bulska. No doubt that this orb is for another game. UT3 i guess.
So that means that they are making a mod for UT3.
However that is pretty different from a weapon...

Nah, it is just a model to show to people that they're making stuff.

As far as I can tell, the orb shots are done from a modelling program. It could be for UT2, or UT3, we can't know that from the pics.

The detail on the 'Orb' is pretty high, too high for something small. I think it's a rather big object, football sized perhaps.

i will say, that it was quite.. interesting, trying to do all the new stuff for it

U4E for UT99 was simply amazing, one of the best weapons/fun mods ever imo. The 2K4 version was ok, but much smaller and pretty bugged. Anyway, it's completely dead now afaik, but that's ok as BW has more than filled the void. Haven't touched another weapons mod since the Gold version.

U4E was amazing for its time. (including the ut2004 version)
BW is just all around amazing.

I say it is a mining tool. If it IS for UT3.... then I'm screwed (somewhat). I don't have a computer able to run with UT3!!! Let alone the original FarCry for PC on low...

I'm quite sure its for UT3, just the textures and stuff give it away.
