Than make a Banana mag for a real AK!

I think since i like the look of the straight mag im gonna keep it as is. Plus i tried modeling out a banana clip for it... wasnt too pretty.

Those Galils are ak-47s... just more refined.

No i dont want it to have a banana mag. Sure they look good and thats what gives them their profile, but i tried making a banana mag and it was rather difficult for me to do so.

Plus that box mag looks sweet.

The way to make the 'banana' mag is simple actually (or at least for me in UEd). You take a circle, cut off the top, and then cut off at the angle you want at the bottom. Then to add in the grooves on the mag, you use subtraction circles.

Just make a straight one and add a bend deformer.

A suggestion: How about adding 2 versions, a light one with this box mag, and one with a bipod and a drum mag.

Well that was definetly one of my plans, might make an RPK type weapon. Its only a thought at the moment though. Probably gonna end up making a sniper version and maybe an aksu-74 version. Depends on how well this one is recieved once it gets finished.

That mag makes it look like an Israeli-made firearm, the closest I can think of, is Galil....
