Extra: Blade thrust (special: Thrust the blade horizontally in the player, then press primary fire to cleave the player in 2 pieces, thrust the blade vertically in the player, then press primary fire to rip open the players entire torso)

I will be focusing some more on Skrith weaponry first, don't worry, the other ideas I posted here are copied into my documents now
the reason I will be focusing more on Skrith is because: 1. I got requested to it by SX
2. Runestorm does lack a lot of Skrith weapons
3. The Skrith themselves interest me
I'd hope to see the Skrith weapons all in 1 pack, and it made downloadable for UT2k4
But thats not my subject over here

Backstory: A Skrith weapon used for ages on the Skrith home planet, used for primitive fishing and hunting in small swamp tribes, and weaponry in tribe conflicts, every Skrith warrior is able to fight like a master with the Javelynn, first contact came with the crash of a supply ship, when the crew members got slaughtered by a Skrith tribe, the weapon is favored by assassins, due to it's silence and melee abilities

Backstory: Skrith warriors studied the technology of the humans during the first war, the Skrith engineers were specifically interested in robots, they made a prototype railgun and used energy charged spiderdroids as ammo, after some more experiments, the AV73 Railgun was born, many humans fell to this devastating weapon during the second war, including vehicles, because of the godlike power of the spiderdroids, the weapon is favored by Skrith anti vehicle warriors as wel as long ranged warriors, this weapon does not feature a melee attack function because it would not fit according to the military function of this weapon

Backstory: The Skrith have proven to be a strong race, their intelligence about energy molecules have brought them to be one of humanities greatest dangers already, making them superior to the Skaarj, during the first war they studied human flamethrowers carefully, and making a prototype of their own, unfortunately, the Skrith can't handle fire, but they can handle plasma, they came with the Plasma Spitter, costing thousends of human lives in the second war


A76 Skrith Shredder

AV74 Skrith Parasite Rifle

Backstory: The Skrith are the most fearsome race known by humans, even the Skaarj strength gets crippled in comparison with the Skrith, Na Pali is familiar with the race to, the Skrith also became interested in Tarydium, they made some quick visits to the Rrajigar mines, slaying almost a hundred Skaarj on their search for the Tarydium, Skaarj believed that they were cursed by their gods when that one day passed by, the Skrith now have intelligence about Tarydium and its dangers, engineers came up with the Parasite Rifle during the second war

Backstory: The Skrith are masters with sharp weaponry, their fast and limber bodies take them to a high level warrior class, Skrith engineers designed a plasmatic grenade which can be stuck into bodies, blowing soldiers to smithereens, the Skrith are fast enough to flee for the explosion, and limber enough to pass any obstacle on their way, the Skrith fighting with these grenades aren't called "Death Runners" for nothing

I like the idea of using spiderbots as ammo.

Backstory: The war against the Skrith costs many human lives, but also a lot of money and gunpowder. Enravion thought up a plan bringing medieval times back in the war, developing a hightech crossbow. This has proven to be a bad ass weapon on the battlefield, costing many Skrith lives, but it's fast reload impossibilities makes it hard to attack waves. The weapon is a great choice for the silence, and the devastating damage done, which both make up for the slow reloading.

You do realize that the whole splitting thing of the shredder would require new models with new animations for every single player model in the game? What would be the purpose of vertical blades besides... looks?

In the original unreal the razorjack when tilted on its side would have its blades move in a curved trajectory,good for confusing your opponents and getting blades in hard to reach areas.

you take the M290 shotgun, and texture the rivet gun slightly the same way, rough gun, yellowish colors for details, but of course a whole other model for it, I'm already thinking of 2 barrels, one firing rivets with adjustable fire modes (full auto, semi auto) and another one beneath the barrel firing a lot of red hot shrapnel like the flak cannon

Anyone remember my Coiled Energy Weapons? Now those were kickass. Like Skrith tech gone up a whole notch and then some. Worked a bloody long time on that one. Agh... tis why i aint bothering with weapon ideas... thats all the ever are is ideas.

***BACKGROUND STORY***

One thing starts another is what could be said about this devastating weapon. This is a makeshift weapon created by Ether Mining Tools, just to connect big pieces of metal. But who could've ever foreseen that Black & Wood bought the blueprints for the tool to modify it for warfare? Nor the Skrith nor the Humans saw that coming. Anyways the XXT 94 was created due to lack of time, the human weapon manufacturers didn't have enough time to design a whole new gun to use in warfare, however, Black & Wood still had a little workshop somewhere. A workshop providing mining tools for Ether Mining Tools. And of course one day the chief from B & W got special interest in the rivet gun Ether was providing. Underground mercenary engineers got a contract from B & W to make a proper weapon out of it. They modified it so there could be the use of different firing modes, plus they added a nice shrapnel launcher under the barrel. It might not be as effective as guns firing bullets, but the gun is a lot cheaper and it is , even though it's a mining tool, very accurate and fast firing, it has low recoil and is used by mercenary soldiers against the Skrith.

***APPEARANCE***

It lends it's design from 2 weapons, the first is the M290 Shotgun from BW, it mainly lends the color scheme, and the textures, also the multi ironsights on the end of the M290 barrel will be on the barrel of the XXT 94.
The second weapon is the Unreal 2 Flamethrower, I think that will be the main inspiration for the gun model, not that it will be exactly the same, but it will have a lot of similarities.
Of course there are some changed things, the barrels are longer than those from the flamethrower, the gun overall is longer, and it looks a little messy, like it's been through many fights already, so some burnmarks and cuts are already on it.
It is being held by 2 grips, one is similar to the UT2K4 Minigun, at the rear end of the gun, it will only be upside down, the other one is similar to the BW Flamethrower and comes on the left side of the gun, that grip also contains the trigger for the rectangle shaped shrapnel launcher underneath the primary fire barrel, which is a cilinder. Furthermore Black & Wood placed a little crosshair on the upperleftside, similar to the one from UT2K4's AvRIL.
