Talking about sick achievements: I was at 75% of collecting all the flags in Assassins Creed. My computer format undid all of it.

I cried.

I'm on 4700 kills! huzza!!!!

5300 kills. way. its still kinda crap though. outta 100000, its not that good.

Indeed, 5.3% of the goal reached.

I need to play more GoW2 again, I'm falling behind!

Though, the other day i got the 'One Man Army' achievement for surviving 5 minutes with 6 stars. Was cool, went to the park in the middle of the main city, brought a sport 'comet' car along and parked it behind the wall but beside the tree that i was in front of while being being a stone wall. Just lobbed grenades at polices trucks and cars, and shot down 1 helicopter because it got past my awesome tree canopy defense. Just had to stay behind the wall, shooting and by the time 6 stars had appeared i had only lost a quarter of my armor (no health lost), by 3 minutes into the 6 stars, i had lost all armor and a bit of health cause those elite troops were coming along the sides and behind the wall and 1 took a lot of damage off me without my notice. Then when the achievement popped up, i made a quick dash to the car, sped across the park and onto a nearby road (the same but like 40 meteres from where i was attacking ) then proceeded to move like hell and after overlapping the trail 2 times and bottling a bunch of them, i managed to get into a "paint shop' and got out of there without dying/ being arrested. Totally awesome.

Awesome, i just started a huge firefight, then camped it out, waited for 6 stars, then kept lobbing grenades outs until i could make a dash for my car, then i sped into the subway and bam! it was over... i got the achievement, but was also hit by a train.

Lol.

Back in GTA3, me and my buddy would often spawn in tanks and see who could last the longest. If there were achievements back then, we would've gotten 'em real quick.

Its a sad day. Last Saturday, my 360 died on me, well its graphics card did. So like ya, suxs balls.

Xboxes don't take too long to get repaired.

ya but its like 4 years old practically. Dunno if its worth it.

there not going to repair it. there just going replace it with a new and improved version of the Ehks Bawks 360. free of charge.
so by all means, get it "Fixed"!

The new 360s don't break [supposedly] so see if you can get a new one.

Everything breaks in the end, the new ones just last longer by average.

Well, just to clear things up, they don't give you a new xbox. They give you one of the other repaired ones. The xbox you get back will be just as likely to break, sadly.


The new xboxes are supposedly better made, but I've heard that their new 'Red Ring of Death' is not under warranty.

I've read that sometimes the RRoD is sometimes caused by the power brick, and that you might get something to work if you tried a different one. I have no idea on the validity of this, but its sometimes I plan on checking if my totally awesome Halo 3 exclusive XBox starts RRoD'ing on me.

Because I like that box, and I'd really like to not see it go to the refurb.
