Story: After the death of SX, his fourth son AKA: Nightshade took over the Hyperions weapon Co. and his first weapon was the X-C22 Heavy SMG. Using a 7.76 MM Snub cartridge, this gun can damage people heavily if the user concentrates his sights on his target. A folding stock was also introduced to increase mobility if the use is in a dire strait, but shouldn't be used in full auto because as Nightshade said: "Damn thing kicks like a gazelle." Ironically, many UTC troopers gave the SMG the nickname "Gazelle" Because it eats ammo fast.

Death Messages:

SX unloaded his clip into Xan's chest.

SX popped Xan's grape with a well placed 7.76 shot.

Xan lost his knees due to the X-C22 H-SMG.

SX crunched Xan's cojones into ooze.


Special:

SX decided to cave in Xan's chest cavity.

Xan got a free dentist appointment from SX's gun butt.

Xan's knees were turned into twisted limbs by SX.

8 damage? That's incredibly low.
I'd suggest 30-40.

For melee a more balanced number would be 20-30.

thats not a grenade launcher, thats the clip. This sub gun is a copy of the russian one based off the ak-47. Still its an interesting idea, But if you can fit 55 rounds of 7.76 into a mag like that... WOW

See that neat little tube on the bottom Kranren, Thats the clip. The entire system of opertion is different ( im assuming the fifty-9 is a blowback action) Where this is a gas piston system similar to the Ak-47 (The designer of the PP-19 Bizon is the son of the man who invented the ak)

That clip could be potentially one of those hylical clips that Calico patented back in the.... 80's, 90's? 50 bullets would be possible in there easy.

This gun's magazine is a helical magazine. It's almost an exact duplicate of the PP-19.

But these rounds would have to be extremely short in order to fit. The current guns with helical mags use pistol rounds, which are commonly about 19mm in length. Your 7.76 ones sound like rifle rounds.

So then how is this short, oddly caliber'd bullet a 'heavy' cartridge? Something this small would be light and have little recoil.

It still contains some of the power in the big bullet, but it does lose some accuracy.

well whats the length of the cartridge? 7.62x39 is whats used in the Ak-47, and thats already a short round, so getting much shorter you might as well be using a pistol trype round.

Also the Bizon's mag is pretty much an exact rip of the Calico. (At least the Bizon is getting used)

Or if you found a way to simply redesign the mag's internals to accommodate more ammo to the center of the mag, which would allow for the larger caliber rounds to have such a capacity when lengthening the spacers inside the mag for the bullet length.

Still have to have room for the spring to when tension is on it is released.

I don't think you can get much more optimized than the originals. Their engineer teams probably got storage to be as efficient as possible!

My only way of improving it would be just plain expensive for a clip to have. Instead of springs, use motors that are able to propel forward the motor itself and the train of bullets in front. Motors for this would be tiny, but just drive costs up exponentially.

Why use motors... They would potentialy take up more space. the shells dont just sit in there they are all positioned on these neat little shelves with holes and notches cut for the round to sit in.

Its a neat Idea, keeps a low profile, a good capacity for ammo, and distibutes the wieght throughout the weapon.

By having the motor, you actually would allow for the central core of the clip to be smaller in radius, allowing more bullets, which in turn allows that the motor be able to fit better. You just have to let the clip have some small extrusions on the front to allow for the motor. You only need a very small electric one, with a watch battery to power it.

By having the motor, you over complicate a clip tremendously, giving you several more components you must rely on not failing in combat (not to mention a battery with insufficient life left in it would not give the gun its peak fire rate).

Nay, I would prefer a good old fashioned spring. Or maybe a nano-construction, self aware, microchip embedded spring... Hmm... That would be a sweet spring...

How about a spring that will purposely break after firing only 2 rounds? That way you'll be forced to change clips so often that you just start throwing clips at the enemy instead! Clip gun!
