i agree fileplanet doesnt make it all justice...i tired to register there once and couldnt proceed and after i send a message to administrator he said he doesnt know how to help ...even though i once in a while MANAGED TO REGISTER there...two-three weeks later my account got deleted for no reason...

I got some strange bugs (though I'll first try to solve them myself, but I don't got the time for that right now so I'll just report:)
Like I said in my earlier post, with the normal swapping (no arena or load-out), the game does not always swap properly, ie the link gun is still present, or the old sniper rifle instead of the ballistic weapons. I also had once that all the weapons stopped spawning all together. The ammunitions weren't effected, and the weapons I already had in my possession kept working fine. I didn't change my prefs after the last time I played, cept for including the new weapons, so there's nothing I could've accidently turned on (I checked all the preferences to be sure) that could've caused this.

Hmm, post your BallisticV21.ini. The problem might be in there.

Do you have BWBP4 installed?

Hm, did you remove the old weapons from the loadout before deleting them and putting in the new ones? The game might be trying to spawn in the old guns.

I removed all the old guns, ofcourse. I just tested a few min ago, and the version of the bug where it swaps the ballistic weapon with the default sniper rifle popped up again. I don't know if there is a log somewere that I can copy+post to solve this..?


I'm no pro at programming, but it says it can't find them >_>? I just installed it for the third time and checked everything went where it had to. It's weird because the game that spawned that log still had me equipped with your new knives o_0?

Try deleting your BWCache.ini again.

Yeah, I could fix it easily by adding the laser back in on the model or getting it physically taken off.

So yep, I 'have a fix' but it's not in.

I'm kinda pissed now - I removed the bwcaches I could find, but it still didn't work. THe first few minutes of play it goes OK (aside from the linkgun which is placed right away instead of the ballistic version) but then all the weaponspawns start vanishing again. Is there anything else what should be removed/replaced? :\

Alright, I think I know what the problem is.

Send me your BallisticV21.ini in a zip or rar file. You can manually change the weapon spawns in there.

For all future installs people, make sure you remove the weapons from the spawn set before removing the mod files. I'll add this into the next readme since it seems to be the primary cause of these issues.

dude not to sound mean or something, but this is map from first BW mappack...where have you been all that time before ? :\ seriosly...if you asked what's the map on the screen with 12 Gauge coah gun then its okay, but that was really noob question...this map is called DM SB-Depot

Those of you with weapon spawn issues, you have two choices.

Either delete your BallisticV21.ini - This will reset your BW options but will fix all the weapons.

Or put this one in your system folder. - This is Thedutchjelle's fixed BallisticV21.ini and comes with whatever he uses in BW.

For advanced users: Open up your BallisticV21.ini and manually remove all instances of BWBPRecolors. - Don't remove the ones with the BWBPRecolors2, though.

XMB-500 Minigun:
- This gun is primarily an anti-infantry weapon and does low damage against vehicles and the like.
- If you have the laser on, the gun is a little bit easier to control.
- Firing the gun in bursts keeps it on target and shreds enemies even at range.
- Crouching when the gun barrels are spinning on the high RPMs gives the user an accurate killer burst.
- Suiciding with this gun IS possible!

EVPC 9000 Plasma Cannon:
- This gun explodes in a massive plasma ball if you let the heat get too high.
- If there is a plasma ring around the center rotor, then primary fire will blow up the gun.
- If an alarm is sounding, then secondary fire will blow up the gun.
- Firing secondary fire on full auto is a quick way to overheat. It can be done with less than 50 cells too.
- Firing secondary fire on semi auto is very accurate and can actually be used to snipe people!
- Primary fire does low damage versus vehicles and secondary fire heals them extra quickly.

HVPC Plasma Cannon:
- The electrical tube on the side turns red as the gun heats up.
- You can 'plasma jump' by firing at your feet with primary.
- Primary fire does low damage versus vehicles and secondary heals them at a decent rate.

HMC-117 Beam Cannon:
- 100% charges are almost always lethal versus infantry and vehicles.
- The laser stinks against vehicles but is effective against infantry.
- 25% charge and the laser can be used in tandem to turn the gun into an ammo-eating killing machine!

SM-AT/AA Recoilless:
- You can SMAT jump with this. It works very well. Seriously, your spine goes flying away!

X83 Sniper Rifle:
- Shots from this weapon completely pierce and ignore armor.
- You can mount it in Instant Action to turn it into a super-accurate sniper.
- One shot is enough to cripple light vehicles.
- Pressing special when scoped activates night vision.
- Pressing special when scoped and mounted activates meat vision/targeting!

GRSXX Golden Gun:
- Primary fire cuts down infantry like tiny trees.
- The secondary laser melts tanks with ease.

The Golden Gun:
- Primary fire kills all flesh based creatures in one shot. 5000 damage.
- It does 1000 damage per shot to vehicles. That's more than the SM-AT/AA.

Redwood Coach Gun:
- It is very satisfying to smack people in the face with this gun.
- It has NO sprint chaos and players can run full speed with it.
- It deals the most close range damage of any shotgun.
- You can shotgun jump by using double shot. [Kinda like the TF2 FaN.]
- It blasts people and vehicles far away. [Good for greifing vehicles. ]

X5W Wrist Blade:
- Secondary Fire is pretty much instant kill to the head.
- It can stun and pull people long distances.

M30A2 Assault Rifle:
- Semi-Automatic fires faster than both Burst and Suppression.
- Automatic and Semi-Automatic both have decent accuracy.
- Burst fire has the best accuracy and Suppression has the worst.
- The sniper shot is fairly effective against vehicles and more ammo friendly.

RS04 .45 Handgun:
- A short burst to the head can kill most players.
- The gun can shoot as fast as you can click.
- Firing slowly massively improves accuracy.
- Using the flashlight makes it hard for snipers to find your head.

AH104 Assault Pistol:
- This gun is the strongest pistol. Kills in one shot to the torso.
- While it is very accurate, damage drops off quickly at range.
- A headshot with this gun will ignore any helmet worn by the player.

AH208 Assault Pistol:
- It's pretty much a D49 that reloads quicker and holds more bullets.
- It'll be getting an improved model next version too!

- If you get a pistol whip kill, you are elite.

What about the X5W and the Coach gun? The Coach gun can shotgun-jump in double fire and the X5W can instantly kill an opponent when aimed for the brain stem or the beginning of the spine.
