The G11 has auto and burst fire.
in fact the G11 has a very fast burst mode (arround 2000 rpm) and an auto fire around 400 RPM

Nope, sadly UT2004 does not support normal maps. However a baked ambient-occlusion pass would help me paint on the lighting. (If you're familiar with UVing, that is.) The triangle limit would probably be somewhere around that of the minigun or giant railgun, though I'm not aware of the numbers at the moment. And we want this to be very detailed. The more detail the better. For a good idea of what the inspiration to the weapon is, check out the Doom 3 Super Shotgun.

Oh man, you feel stupid? Let me tell you how stupid I feel right now... I just came back from my grandparents house in south carolina from visiting (for thanksgiving blah blah) and I started up blender to finish my gun (which I was capable of finishing up in ONE more sitting) and I thought I saved all of my progress, that is, until I opened up the file and found a blank ass slate of a gun... I'll see you guys later... I've got some texturing to do... ugghhhhh....

Nihilus, that model is looking very good! I'm definitely liking it. Just be sure to model it in parts and hollow out the barrels so they can have shells inserted when animated.

This can be tricky. My models have the mechanisms already made at least the flash has probably the most complicated despite the simple looking of the model
I had to make a lot of corrections but the model is going good.

Main page updated! I filled in a lot of the weapon names with links to pictures found in this thread. Those of course aren't finalized and will eventually all be replaced with the really big 1440x900 action shots.

Are the rockets in the rocket tubes going to be removable, blade sword? If they are then I can do some cool effects with them in third person.

How much else do you wnat me too add to the GL.
I have to hollow out the barrels (havent had a chance to work on it today yet, but thats a 10 second job anyway.

Good question kelly . Yeah actually the Clip actually is empty, but I plan to make the rockets separately.
I thought this will be useful to show the difference between the rockets who are fired and the rest.

I think 5000-7000 might be a safe bet, we definitely want as much detail as possible. For example, the clasps on the barrels, the raised iron sight ridge like on the D3 shotgun, the backup ironsight posts in the middle and front, as well as the indents on the frame. (Which seem to be protruding out on the WIPs.)

I haven't gotten this pack in a long while. I haven't had BW on a for a long while either, but since i've got it now for all the new media and such, which version of your pack should i download? I'm interested in the V9 (all the weapons), but no idea if it's in a freaky state or something Do i need previous packs as well? I might also just have to spread word of this more when i announce on a larger scale the new website, etc
I'd like to take a look at it in more detail before "officially" linking it and endorsing it, etc. Just means that's its in a working state is all

You can have the latest version without having the previous packs, they are all stand alone.
The V9 is quite stable, but buggy, in therms that some weapons doesn't work correctly but otherwise it won't crash your computer often.

Hmm, I would go with V9 simply because it has so much more fun content.

Though getting an official link would be awesome! That would definitely help get the word out. Though if you were to endorse or link to it, I would recommend using V8 as it's the most stable and bug-free version.
Sadly a lot of the cool, custom, community content is not done or media ready in V9.

If you mean, is the geometry still seperate then, yes.
Ill have to merge the geometry together into the sections that need to be moved.

For example the 2 barrels, and the sights, rail and clasp that are on them.

Looking better and better! Those grenades look especially cool.

The barrels and new brace seem very low detail though. I think 16 faces would be more appropriate for UT2004. The old straight brace design would also work better here to mask the detail.
