Primary fire, but to kill these guys you want to use the alt. fire though, and hope two blasts do the justice.

Wow battles with those zombies must be insane.

I've been wondering, is Quake 4 better on the PC than on the X-box? I have the X-Box version.

Graphically, not a question that the PC is better. The XBox 360 isn't even close to be capable of running the game on the same settings as me.

But gameplay-wise, you'll have to be the judge yourself. But I personally prefer 1st person shooters on the PC.

I really can't stand FPS games on consoles anymore. Trying to aim with a joystick Vs. a mouse is not even a close competition. And a keyboard is several dozen times better than a couple buttons scattered around a controller.

Not to mention, like Bjossi said, the capabilities of computers are vastly superior to consoles of the same timeframe.

See all these screen shots are an elaborate hoax, Bjossi really is an employee of George Lucas and he's using the movie studios computers to render these shots.

The smaller crosshair, the better. The crosshair I use in UT2004 makes the one in Quake 4 seem like huge.

If that were true i'd explode into a violent rage of death.

I don't know why I'd want to work at his studio's computer, I'm pretty sure a video card isn't even used to create pictures/movies and process them, but I'd kill myself to get his processor.

That weapon rocks, a kind of a nailgun and has a grenade launcher as alt. fire.
But my favorite has to be either the leechgun or the acidgun.

does the leechgun throw something other than a leech?

It doesn't throw leeches, with it's alt. fire you can leech four types of gas and use them against enemies.

These four types are lightning blast, freezer, burner and solar beam. I haven't seen the 4th one yet, maybe it isn't even in the SP.

Indeed, it looks too small. If you played Quake 2, you remember how nasty the old rail shot looked. It still looks nasty and powerful, even though the particle graphics could use a facelift.

this game is very cool.. just got it, and it's slow as hell on our geforce 5500.. but it still looks damn good, and very disgusting

I got Quake 4 to run on average 45 FPS with my Geforce FX 5700 LE.
It is easy with a little CFG tweaking.
