I just started working on this project again.
Some of the other guys from Flying Tank Productions and I have been working on making an UnrealScript compiler for the Mac, and so far it's coming along nicely. I've been using the developer beta of Unreal Studio (Unreal Studio is a program that F.T.P. is making that can edit and compile UnrealScript on the Mac), and it makes developing for UT2004 a lot easier.

I'm folowing your project dude, I actually can't do anything yet, I'm busy with Sarge's project, but if there is a weapon in your project that is in my cords I will model it for you

I don't know if that will help you but there are many gun models on Google sketchup. Most of them can be downloaded as collada and if not, then there is an easy rick to convert .skp to .dae
I guess they don't have a skeleton, though.

The problem is there is a need of a modeler / animator / texturer for this.
he can code the weapons, but I think he should release something with place holders in first place

but is he still working on it?
im sure i could find some models for him, or is it gonna be. he wants origanal models?

He wants mostly real weapons and skrith weapons
But I didn't saw him recently.
I think he will retake the project this summer

so i could find him some real weaps, but i hope the comes back i would love to see this out

No I don't believe I'm dead, but instead dealing with keeping Flying Tank Productions out there. I am the only programmer there right now, and including me we only have 3 people working at Flying Tank Productions.

Good question here since you model for them ... though I think you should use moddb with us and communicate a bit more in this forum, beyond unreal and the epic games one.
I think this can make people staying alert.

Sorry to bump this thread but im dieing to know whats going on with this

If the group you were talking about was the member page on my website, then I should tell you that everyone was kicked, there were to many people who were going on and advertising their own websites and there were barely any people who were actually on the project.

I am trying to get this project started again, moving the project to Steam hasn't seemed to work so I guess its staying here.

I will continue working on the Unrealscript and post updates as I finish the weapons.

I think you should publish something even if there is only placeholders, but I think you guys might focus the main activity here IMO, and just go on other forums for recruitment purposes

The only difference between someone that can do something and someone that can't is a bit of learning from readily available sources.

yeah, i used to be one that cant, but i learned, and now i can do something at least, even if its just basic coding.

see i would sit down and learn, but i dont really have the time, the only times i even get to play unreal, is occasionally on weekends
