It got updated last week with almost all the weapons on the first page. Should be some new guns to play with in there.
While I'm waiting for models and UV maps I've been making weapon tiles which will spruce up that first page soon.

The good news is that the FLASH is almost finished, I'm starting UV mapping.
I'm doing it for the rocket first and the reason I'm doing it is because it's easier and have only a few animations to make and it might be easier to UV map though.
The Weapon itself is finished and pretty much optimized though.
The only thing that isn't finished is the rocket pickup which will be modified soon and doesn't require so much work.
I prefer to make the rocket because I can learn how to UV map and animate with and because it's easier, don't forget that I'm a pure beginner to this and I try to put my best effort on this.

Hey Sgt. Kelly, if you want, I can send you the unanimated pk2000 model so it can take the place the ut2k4 assault rifle as a placeholder, eh? (since it doesn't use an animation anyways )

If it isn't already, can someone confirm that the SKAS-21's terrible chaos/inaccuracy isn't just my copy? And if it IS just mine, then what would cause that problem?

Well, I'm not having much issues with it personally. It's supposed to swing around a bit when you're running around if that's what you mean. It's very easy to aim and kill with though.

When I'm running, it's perfectly stable (set inaccuracy level to 0.00 for testing purposes), but standing/looking around/firing causes it to swing. I've got no problem with it having chaos, it just seems that it's very inconsistant.

Either I'm losing my mind, my install is bugged, or something's wrong with the version you released. I'm going to re-download and see if that fixes it. Can anyone else check this? I'd recommended setting inaccuracy to 0.00, should be easer to see if it's glitched.

I don't think it's a bug, all of the guns have both turn chaos and movement chaos. The MARS-2 has a lot of movement chaos which makes it hard to aim while on the move. The X83 in comparison has a lot of turn chaos. If you spin around in circles while holding the X83 or move the view around a lot while scoped, the gun will go off target.

I think what you're talking about is just standard turning chaos. Try it with the other guns and you'll see they act similarly.

They arn't, that's the problem! I have the inaccuracy setting at 0.00, and no other weapon (except the R98 hunting rifle) has any chaos at all. When I'm running the SKAS-21 has no chaos, which makes no sense whatsoever (a gun shouldn't be more stable if you're moving).

M50A4: A simple modification of the M50 to make it more mission felxible. Full picatinny rails, plus 4X optic, and under-barrel grenade launcher. No camera, now has a LAM.

Weapons based on Cryon Technology:

Defender-7: 7-shot, break-action, revolver. Splits the difference in damage between the Wilson DB and D49, alt-fire activates a recoil-compensator that removes all chaos from the gun as long as the user is stationary. Short battery life, though. May or may not have an optical sight (undecided).

Bastion Double: Over-Under two-barrel 10-gauge with dot and laser sights. Can fire specially loaded shot shells (tight spread like M763, damage drop-off and per pellet identical to MRS) or AP Hi-EX slugs (ignores body armor, small damage on impact, explodes for large damage after a detonator is activated). Cannot double shot. High recoil.

Anti-Personnel Enhanced Suppresion Heavy Infantry Tactical Weapons System: CLASSIFIED.

Ages ago I stated I would make a "proper" video of Sergeant Kelly's weapon pack. Granted this one isn't combat (read the description to find out why, also UT2004 server-side demo playback doesn't show first person weapon models), it's still worth a watch. He would never have the time to make something like this, but I did, and although I'm not a gun enthusiast or well, him, I tried my best to fully demonstrate everything the guns can do.

Wait a sec, whaddya mean the camo system will only be available in Instant Action? It's working alright in multiplayer for the moment.

The code is completely screwy and won't respond to any of my attempts to add in the special attributes and stuff. And I certainly don't want to delay the mod another four years trying to fix the darned thing. I know I've kept you guys waiting long enough.

... ok, update on the SKAS-21 issue: it appears that the looking/turning chaos is not being modified by the accuracy setting.

Someone please test this for me, I want to know if it's just my copy or if it's a problem in general.


Damn. It seems to be working fine now... maybe there could be a net-friendly version? Wouldn't be as expansive, but it's something.

For the record, the Bulldog's .75 caliber rounds are classified as BOLT rounds, thermoBaric Ordinance, Lead Trajectory, describing the Payload and Flight Path of the rounds.

But still way cooler than any clunky box some extraterrestrial military corps personnel might lug around.

Oh, did you disable stable Jump/Sprint? That might be it. But I will try without it tonight, see what happens.

I did disable that, though other weapons still have chaos while running (namely the hunting rifle).

Well, I'm certain it's not my coding, because all of my guns are based off the root BW code. Anything you notice with aiming and chaos should be present on all other guns.

By the way, I'm going to need names for our new grenade launchers. We have a 6-shot revolving GL (MGL-140 in real life) and we may have a dual barreled break open GL if Nihilus sends me the model he made.

Right now I'm thinking MGL-340 or MGL-870 or something, but if you guys can think of anything better feel free to post.
