The CYLO sights are modeled after actual M14 sights, and the SRS M2 uses HK MP5 style sights (small diopter hole, no drum). The M50 uses the actual M16A1 carry handle sights (set for long range). These are called peep hole sights, and they have been around forever. If you've handled a weapon, you'll find that these are actually very useful!

The only problem is that they are hard to pull off in BW. Quite unfortunate, really.

Yeah, aperture-style sights work, as the rear sights look all fuzzy since your eye is only a few inches away from them. They just don't work without depth-of-field blur.

Plus, perspective views in games aren't that realistic,

On my Rifle, The Back sights hole is absolutely tiny, about 1mm

But when your face is close, you can see everything through the hole.

Bear in mind that those 10 rounds are HUGE.

If anything it's not the bulldog that needs a shorter clip*, its the AH104 that needs a longer clip*. Even if you lengthen the AH104 clip x2* it should probably only be able to hold 5 rounds



*If I am not mistaken, he means the physical shape of the clip, not the number of rounds

Yeah, just bear in mind that at this point it's very unlikely that the clip's physical size will be modified, so I expected that the capacity would increase instead. No offense intended.

Looking at the model itself, I'd say 10 rounds is actually quite fitting, if not generous.

Guys I have the model of the bulldog in my blender and I say 10 rounds are totally fitting.
But the persepctive might be confusing.

A special 20 cap or so one could be put in as a sort of superweapon, perhaps? With only 10 bullets, it's not exactly an assault weapon.

It is dude. Remember assault shotguns, most of them have 6 ~ 10 rounds in a standard mag config
It's an assault cannon, so that's normal to have a mag this low.
20 is the case of assault shotguns only appears in drums which in classic rifles equals to 80 - 100 rds.

Pfft. According to UK law pretty much anything is an assault weapon. It's a cannon with ten rounds and a high damage per shot: it's an assault cannon.

Heh that's possible, I don't know how it is for my country except if in France we stick with Nato standards.
I just used the shotguns example because the Buldog is pretty much a slug thrower in a similar vein.

It's coded but I don't know how the model is advancing in therms of animating and stuff
So you will see it in V10 since the V9 will include only the finished stuff.
BTW I have difficulties with my own Stuff too.

hey Sgt. Kelly, I have a small request... think you might be able to make a version of the GRS9 with a laser you can use as much as you want without it overheating? (and a reliable way to summon it instead of "you might get this or another version" lol)

I have the beta weapons, but they don't show up in game. Even with the Ballistic Loadout mutator, I am not able to use them. But they still show up in the weapons interface on the settings menu.

I love the all the weapons I DO have. I only have one request though. Can the X-83 have a larger peripheral vision while it is mounted on its bipod? It's irritating when I'm at a high elevation, such as the towers on FaceClassic.

You need Ballistic Weapons 2.5 and the bonus pack 4.

Bonus pack 4 is integrated into BW 2.5. Installing it would just create needless duplicates.

Yep, you should only need 3 things:

-Clean install of BW2.5
-The latest V9 package.
-The latest prototype package [optional]

If you were using the prototypes before but you can't see them now after installing the latest version, I stress: The prototypes have a different class name now! Either edit your BallisticV25.ini so you prototypes bear the new name or delete your Ballisticv25.ini and get a fresh new one

Alright, I usually wait until things are finished and working properly before I download and play them, but... if I were to download the current pack/prototypes now, how much would be missing from the "final" release?

Certain firemodes won't work properly, certain weapons may not have third person models. The latest RC is perfectly playable though.

I should just wait. My opinion is easily tainted by a bad experience, and if something doesn't work the first time, I may be less likely to look at it again later. It goes contrary to my Modsquad reviewing days, but then I haven't done that for forever now, so you lose a thing or two along the way. I'll wait until it's touched up and done.

The third person model thing, that isn't an issue for me. It's just the firemode thing.

That is only an issue with the Bulldog Assault Cannon, but to be frank with you that's one of the best weapons in this pack so I'd advise waiting.

What's strange is that the firemode works perfectly fine for me. No bugs, no freezing, no nothing. It's rather worrying that it's not working for you guys.

Is this a wide spread issue? Is the bulldog alt fire not working for anyone else?
