There is no reason to lock it.

oh and the best keys to boud it too if your using WASD for movement would be Shift for left and Ctrl for right, i'm talking about the Shift and Ctrl thats closest to WASD.

I use Q and E for left and right weapon control keys myself. Works great.

how can you do that you need E for entering vehicles and Q for the Translocater.

Why do I 'need' to? Maybe you are unaware of the Configure Controls menu?

Yeah, I'm using Q and E coz I'm on a lap top, every other button is a hassle to get to :S

I know that but doen't doing what your doing overwrite the Q and E first commands>

Alright i tried it but no go for some messed up reason UT2k4 doesn't allow me to put the E or Q keys to Key 2 for dual wielding (hope you understand that, i really don't ). really messed up.
