For me, I just SUCK with some weapons, but I really want to improve with them. Can some experienced BW players give me tips on how to use them effectively?

D49 Revolver
A42 Skirth Pistol
A73 Skirth Rifle
SAR-12
Xmk5 (the one that fires poison darts)
AH104 Assault Pistol (Sgt. Kelly's .600 Handcannon)
Flamethower
HVC-Mk9
M46 Combat Rifle

SAR-12 Always have the stock out for better Accuracy/Recoil
Xmk5 Only good in Close Range, Always Fire the Dart first, Then shoot.
AH104 Assault Pistol Use the Laser. Then Fire when the Laser is on the enemy.
Flamethower Use the Secondary Gas to create traps.
HVC-Mk9 Close Range

D49 is my favourite

Dont use it as a sniper, and use its secondary fire ALOT, its practically a insta kill.

S-ar 12, i use to be bad at this but i realised if i turned it to single fire, and took out the stock and used the laser i could shoot it very accurately.

M50 Assault rifle, Seriously

Its my ALL time favourite weapon, you have to shoot grenades more often and remember that they curve and arnt rockets and the bullets just medium range but try burst fire.

M46 Combat rifle, This weapon i like to call the silent killer, because if you fire a proximity grenade someones going to step on it, its only a matter of time

And i prefer this gun when you have a narrow corridor and i use the bullets quite often. just try to fire continously at short range and burt fire at medium range.

I've always tried to be conservative with my M50 and M46 grenades though. and Its usually me that steps on my own proximity mines. . I just wanted to know if theirs a more effective way to use their bullets.

Yes, just try top get them onto the bot path

So just observe places bots usually go and proximity mine that area, and laugh

and m50 grenades are tricky i normally have low gravity on and ive come up with a solution to my constant missing, you have to aim the gun at the bots head and fire the grenade, it'l lose momentum and hit there legs causing them to become a torso and nothing more

And the deer rifle

Im amazingly accurate at that gun, okay this is my technique, dont use the iron sights, while i hip fire with the deer rifle ive discovered im more acurate with hip firing than ironsights

And ALWAYS watch the gun, not the crosshairs, try it in another match just look at the barrel of the gun and try to see where the barrel is pointing, then fire

i sometimes get straight headshots 4x in a row

if all else fails just turn down the recoil in the settings, it might be too high

Maybe my style just isn't using redwood and m50s.

I've noticed that the guns I perform best with are the long range rifles likes SRS, M46 (I figured out how to control the recoil cuz I can use them in short range as well ). I've also became quite fond of the low-power pistols like the RS8, MD24, and GRS. And also, I LOVE grenades, Fifty-9's, MRS's, and Xk2's.

I"m a person who prefers accuracy over damage. And also, did you ever try rigging an M46 mine or a BX5 landmine right under a flag in CTF? It's frigging hilarious.

The best way to get good results in BW is to find the weapons you like and then master them, BW was designed more or less to ensure that one can defeat enemies no matter what weapon you're using, or what weapons they're using...

Practice makes perfect though, I'm pretty good with just about any weapon, except for non bullet weapons, but grenades are easy...

I prefer small Cal autos and pistols and shotguns. ( more controllable and not as heavy)
Unless its a mounted weapon (bi-tri/pod) fire in burst and keep moving and shoot for the head.

Thanks. Now, do any of you guys know tips for melee weapons cuz I'm "trying" to be like a Skirth and use Melee extensively.

Other than using stealth?, not really...

But you'll want to use the secondary fire for the first hack, and avoid those shotguns...

Ok; Then can you teach me how to be "stealthy"?

Hmm, that's not really something you can teach...

I usually do these things:

(A): Crouch when trying to ambush someone(as moving while crouched is silent)..

(B): Wait for them to come toward me, or put themselves at risk somehow...

(C): This is a the best and hardest one, to know what they are thinking, where they will go to counter attack, and where in the map they would be most vulnerable to an attack..

(D): Listen for movement sounds, players often make a lot of noise and don't expect to be ambushed, thus giving away their plans and position...

(E): And its always good to BE AWARE, observe your surroundings, know where YOU are vulnerable, and avoid falling prey to someone else's ambush, be cautious!...

Of course, this is a fine art, one that takes practice and knowledge of player behavior and level layout...

I don't bother with this stuff when playing against bots as they can't be fooled..

Another Good thing also is to set up Deco explosives,

To catch them off gard.

Also Silenced weapons.

Oh, so I guess its impossible to be a melee ninja when fighting bots.

Not really, Can be quite easily done, Just if you mess it up, your screwed.

I usually just run at bots with a knife, kills them easily, but stealth doesn't work against bots, they lack the AI...

The bots are too dumb to be outsmarted.
