It will not replace the LS14, and it shoots red lasers as per its new HVPC power cells. Here's a picture!

By the way, LS14 does indeed have a maximum rate of fire. I believe its capped at about 10 shots a second. The RS04 is capped at around 15 a second, which is almost as fast as the AIMS-20.

Quick note here, the LS14 actually does have a higher damage-per-second than the LS440M due to its slightly higher rate of fire, especially when coupled with the double shot.


I'll leave it up to you guys whether this gun should be an official candidate of V9 or not.

The A73-E still leaves giant red square decals... but it only seems to happen on some maps. Mainly Torlan. I have no idea why, but it's not a huge deal if it only does it on a handful of maps or something.

Is there any way to make the coach gun fire one big double-shot instead of a back-to-back single shot? Right now it's "ba-bang" instead of just BANG.

Does the Dragon's tooth nanoblade swing slower now? Man... bummer. I could swear there's more time between swings now.

Bulldog tracer is still offset from the gun... The HMC is still overcharged or not depending on team colours... issues I talked about weeks ago. I thought the HMC thing was going to be addressed and that it wasn't supposed to happen like that. And if I didn't know any better, I'd say the damage output of the laser mode has been sacked badly. I need to test that a little more yet though, I'm testing it on vehicles. Maybe it works better against softer, sentient targets. like I thought the CAWS was bad until I tried it against a living thing.

Okay, I finally have to ask. What is the difference between the standard SKAS shotgun, and the army camo one that starts on Manual and fires faster in Automatic mode than the standard? Is the damage output any more or less?

The HMC is based off the Flamethrower.
If you step into special light or get Udamage, you'll see that...

Same thing for M14.

Bug stuff:
- Torlan outside details are a real pain to fix. Do the LS14 and regular A73 do the same things in those locations?

- Coach gun will not be changed, as the double firemode style is intentional.

- Dragon's Tooth swing rate has not been changed, however players now run faster with it, and it can hit twice on secondary fire.

- The HMC's laser does very low damage to vehicles, its base damage has not changed since its inception. You should really be using primary fire on cars and tanks, though. You're looking at the 'ghost scope' bug in that picture there. Also, Red Team's HMC does not do the enhanced damage of the 'rare' overcharged HMC. The differences for Red/Blue are only aesthetic.

- Tracers don't necessarily like to spawn where they're told. The bulldog's is still being tinkered with.

- The German/Army SKAS is a rapid fire variant, so it puts out more damage per second. Why it prefers to start in Manual mode is beyond me...

Okay so, like... has the Cylo-E had the damage reduced to near-nothing until you explode it by concentrating firepower in an area? Cause it does next to negligible damage to vehicles until it explodes in the ion storm... then it mauls them. If so, I do believe I love this thing again. More testing against bots is needed but it looks good, so far anyway...

When I get the CYLO MK3, it says "you picked up the [Beta][Beta][Dog]. lol, what the hell? It also just seems to be an energy blaster, like the Accelerator Matrix style on the CYLO-E. I'd just take the E.

I am almost sure I have asked this before, but on the GG-4000, what is the difference between primary fire and alt fire? It's a machine gun either way.

I was super disappointed with the LS440 at first. At first I was like and then I altfired it and was like It is slightly slower than the LS14, but the fact you don't have to cool it down means it will definitely kick out more damage. I would just swap the fire modes on it, make the rapid-fire the primary and the big ol' blast the altfire. I'm going to do that through the weapon menu and just check the "swap fire modes" box so don't be messing with me and changing it on that end, lol. It's already a beast, I can tell this is going to be super fun. I think it's just replaced the LS14 for me. Thanks for beefing that up some! Quick note to everyone else, it's definitely not anti-vehicle. The primary fire does piss poor damage against vehicles despite what the graphics and sound effects might tell you otherwise. I imagine it's much more useful against bots and monsters though. But yeah, you definitely don't want to use the primary fire against a vehicle. Altfire isn't bad against them though.

edit: Hmm. The LS440 uses LS14 death messages. Not a huge deal or anything. It wouldn't be the first time something like this has happened.

In non-team modes the overcharged variant is far stronger and more heat-efficient. It's quite the upgrade, actually.

Though in other news, the incendiary weapons have received new special effects! Now you can spit fireworks!

I was blown away by V9. I especially love the AH104's chaos decrease (was near impossible to use while running in the version I downloaded)

The only 2 complaints I have about V9 is that I can't play V9 weapons on Loadout. Well, I can but it only goes under the Melee section alongside with every single weapon in the game.

Also, I think the guns are a bit overpowered compared to the standard BW weapons. For example, AH104, is pretty much an R781 that you move faster with, can be Semi-Auto, Less chaos, and laser sights while the GRS1 completely replaces MRT6 shotguns.

Other then that I think it's an EPIC BP. I'm probably going to faint if theres ever a V10 with some sort of high tech Skirth knife pistol
