Can someone put together a halo style weapons pack( and yes i know about HaloUT[ their weapons dont feel right})?

its an older article, but its pretty much the main reason y u have all of those Halo stuff in the Unreal games(and not getting into trouble), like the old HaloUT mod and the characters and weapons, sounds, etc.

not quite sure how to port stuff from the old Halo PC or Halo2 PC though...

i searched and i found an older locked thread stating the most of the peeps here are unwilling to make or port these weapons, since they are not 'original'

but still, zapping bots with a spartan laser(not those HMC photon ripoffs ) would be awesome

Well I kinda designed the HMC 117 to be both a homage to Halo and to bring my two favourited halo weapons into BW. Functionally speaking, I really have no idea why you'd need the Spartan Laser AND the HMC 117.

well, u can make the spartan laser a tad more dedicated in taking out tanks and add a long range scope.

besides, it would be awesome to see one, even though it does seem to have similar roles of the railgun and HMC. But hey, more gunz is better gunz. I dont really care if one weapon has a similar role as another. take the many assault rifles we have, same role mostly, but different tactics and how to use em. Just make a way to make the weapons different than others.

Well there are already quite a few halo'esque weapons in BW, it's just the needler is missing the peacemaker is almost but not quite there( lack of homing and delayed boom) and the plasma grenade (sticky energy grenades are fun)
skirth sidearm/rifle - plasma pisto/rifle
yarm has the pistol and Assault rifle
BW's G5 is a good replacement for spnkr (love the fact that almost all halo weapons are evolved marathon guns)
and we got plenty of sniper rifles and shotguns to go around

that doesn't mean we can have more guns nevertheless, the more, the better, as we all no.

and we already get the point u want the needler or the needle rifle and such, u dont have to keep begging for it, it gets rather annoying.... most the ideas are just ideas, the modelers and coders have their own deeds they want to do, as we all (should) no. perhaps u should learn to import models from Halo PC or learn how to model IMO.

in just pointing the facts man, i myself would like to have the needlers in too, but as a coder, i also want to do other stuff that i wanna do. like improve my vehicles, ETC.

Yes guys you should try to make the stuff yourself, there is tutorials about blender where you can do pretty much all the modeling and animating. Sure, you will need time and patience, but for me the results paid me off by having actually some models that works.
Try out making stuff even if it's crappy, show it. The community will help you if you at least do the effort to try.

indeed, it takes time, right now im mainly into basic coding, but i can do sum texture editing and have the basic know how, but ill let the experts do that, i still have alot to learn as well, but im getting there My Buffed Paladin is an example.

BTW it IS possible to have stickie grenades, look at em m46 proxies

theres a LARGE selection of weapons and vehicle models that can easily be ported into UT2004.

to CMGuy, the only reason i restated the needler thing was cause everyone went off on the HMC(Beaut weapon btw),

to anyone where do i get freeware prgrams i can use to port/create 3d models for UT2k4 cause i would like to try my hand at making my idea come to life(will be a while, so far my attempts at using editor tools has been horrific)

its ok, I sent a PM to SPAM((hesa good animator) to ask if hes willing to animate sum of the halo weapons found on the Halo Custom Edition Community Site for BW use, right now im focusing on getting the Spartan Laser to work...

Then MAYBE the Needle Rifle and Plasma Launcher after that...

Well, if this takes off, is the BW community going to see a energy sword? cus i will flip (in a good way) i love the thing but only when it has beast effects and animation you know? other wise its no so good...like the halo 2 tag in a halo CE map, its really not good....untill someone made the Halo 3 one, then its was awesome.

I just need sum1 to do the animations.... ill do the basic coding(though with my lack of experience, i might need sum help here)

and for the sword, yeah I would love that... NanoBlade works too but adding more exotic melee weapons that are not just pieces of sharp medal are always good.

good news!! SPAM agreed to help work with the animations and textures on these models, that means u might see sumthing later on...
