I've seen this being suggested in quite a few suggestion posts(where else?) and i think it's a bit problematic. It is indeed a tad annoying to pick up shell casings one by one but if you add a vaccum cleaner to the game then it would create a problem as I don't think it is needed for any other garbage. As an alternative I suggest that we have a rod with a ball at the end that is basically an electromagnet. You switch it on and it attracts the metal casings and shells to it and then you can switch it off above a disposal bin. Perhaps it will only attract a few casings (5-8?) at a time so that you will still have to do a few sweeps to get them all if there are plenty around. (cans are aluminium and wouldn't get attracted btw.) Thoughts? |
