Hello.

I'm actually using a Nvidia Surround setup.
That means I play with three screens with a resolution of 5760x1080, or 5880x1080 with bezel correction.

The game doesn't work perfectly with ultra-wide resolution.
In-game, the weapon is "zoomed", and the options menu is... well... is kinda weird.

Here's two screens :

Did the FoV slider change anything? From the looks of those screenshots the problem is that the game uses horizontal FoV, which means extremely wide resolutions will display much less at the same FoV number. Increasing the slider to a higher value should help.

Nope.

Changing the FOV is not changing the weapon display at all.
This "weapon" is still there, zoomed, and didn't move even if I move the FOV slider.

Also, setting the FOV to its maximum ( 120 ) it not enough to have a correct view.
I have found a temporary solution : hitting TAB key seems to open the console. That means i've found a temporary solution; I just type "fov 150", and that set a correct FOV.

Furthermore, there's a lot of interface glitches.
You can see on the 1st screen that the configuration menu is... weird.
Another glitch : When i'm in-game, if I hit ESC key to pause the game, the pause menu is left-aligned instead of being center-aligned.

I will post screens later.

Sorry for the bad english, i'm french.

Sorry for the double-post and the delay.
Here's the screenshots I promised :

The maximum FOV of 120 isn't enough for this resolution.

As you can see, "manually" changing the FOV to 150 is just perfect to play.
But it did not fixed the "zoomed" aspect of the weapons.

And here's some screenshots of the menu that are a bit weird.

Thank a lot for your time ;)

Hmm, not sure what we can do to improve this. I guess we'll look into it, no promises though. :)

To be honest, I've never even seen a 3 monitor wide display, the concept alone sounds rather prone to problems.

Thank a lot for your response, Black Eagle ! :)

Even if I don't know how, I think it's totally possible.
For example, Borderlands 2 uses Unreal Engine too and support perfectly well ulta-wide resolutions.
They clamp the HUD in a small portion of the screen, so it fits perfectly on the center monitor

Otherwise, yes. The principle of using three monitors sounds weird to me.
I tried, and oh god... it's a pure heaven.
Sadly there's problems. A big bunch of problems :
- Some games perfectly support Surround/Eyefinity : the HUD is clamped on the center monitor.
- Some games support it, but not perfectly : the games is perfectly playable, even if the HUD is at the corners. So I get a stiff neck every time I want to watch the minimap.
- Some games didn't support it at all : WTF FOV, in-game menus which size are based only on the horizontal resolution ( = out of the screen, vertically ), crash when applying the bigger resolution, in some words it's not playable at all, etc...

PS : I'm sorry for using URL tags instead of IMG tags. IMG max resolution is 1920x1080...
Anyway it's better, because you're not forced to download the screenshots each time you load the page.

Hmm yes, I see. Well our UI is currently a basic implementation, it uses stretching for some of its elements, and on most widescreen resolutions this is beneficial (giving you more horizontal space), but I can see how with such a width, it would look ridiculous. :?

The UI right now is by no means the final representation, as we add more, the UI will need to be reshaped in order to fit those features, so chances are the way it works with varying resolutions will improve greatly.

I'm not happy with how it is now, and will soon need to reshape it anyway. :)
