The more and more I play the more I can think of tools, areas and secrets to come around. Here's somethings I think would be fun, funny, sick, gross, detailed for things on certain maps. I know a lot of things would be too time consuming and somethings are already off the table and ready to go, I just wanted to offer some things, so hope you guys like and or take into consideration. Zero-G Therapy - Open the door, get sucked into space! - Map is just a tad too small. - Reference from Aliens from the final scene? Like the lifter Ripley fought the Queen in sitting in a corner somewhere? - Stars outside instead of a black space? (Have the Portal 2 Space core float by? - Windows? Splatter Station - It's perfect, I like it as is. Section 8 - Map is creepy, perhaps some strange noises going on and some Alien parts laying around. - Lantern charger or dispenser? - Restock supplies? Like Medkits or something? - Back story notes to pick up? The writing on the wall suggests an Alien attack. Rust-Station East - The name fits it because everything does look rusty. The floors however I feel are too much metal. - Confusing area, I get lost a lot of times. - Too much brown. Evil Science - The largest map! Perhaps a bit too large. - Medical Kit restocking I love but why spawn toilet seats and wet floor signs? I've only seen four toilets and there's a ton of wet floor signs in the holding cells. - Ability to open containment tubes with monsters! Not have them attack you, but just having them there I think would be neat, hey maybe they can help you clean? - Waste bins don't really fit the whole medical theme going on, it does for some parts for picking up small parts but the huge limbs from monsters and stuff the bins are too small. I thought the pile of body bags in the holding cells was to use for that, guess I was wrong. Give use a few to use to throw stuff in, zip up and throw in furnace maybe? Careful - the zipper could open and there goes the load making a bigger mess, like when waste bins tip over? Gross I know, but hey - it fits the area! - Able to unzip bags already present to see what horrors are inside? After seeing this: I was just like "Why? IT HAD TO OF BEEN MOVING! WHAT WAS IT!?" ![]() - Toilet flushing? - Second floor as a separate map maybe? When I cleaned the whole thing I had already spent 2 hours and then discovered the second floor. I was just like - Adding Water bucket and Waste bin dispensers second floor? (If not able to make it separate map.) Would like to hear what the team thinks of these and if some are even possible to do, I'd help design but I can't even make a map on paper. Also I know someone had surgery earlier and hope they are recovering alright. |

Aye, interesting. We've a long, long list of possible things we can add or change. What will go in is hard to say, but we're not done with the med-bay yet, there will be other passes down the line. When time allows it, the obviously lacking areas will be filled in (such as Zero-G's empty space). On another note, there are a bunch of Alien references in the Med-Bay. Oh sweet! I hadn't noticed them until now. I'd offer to help in development but even just trying to make a simple square map with Source SDK has my head about to implode. Black Eagle wrote: Mission accomplished. |
