Alright, right forum now. I'm sorry, I missed it. Hi, so this error showed up when I recently got the game. I haven't even played yet and this happens. So I browsed a little and I found that another user had the same issue. You recommended him to update his graphic card drivers so I did it too, but it keeps happening. However, here's the log. Nothing immediately comes to mind, I'm not too sure about this one. The problem may be related to you using a Spanish install of windows and the UDK being confused, though it should all work fine, it's possible the game is looking for files that aren't there. You could try moving the game folder as well, try moving the "Santa's Rampage" folder from "SteamApps\Common\" to a structure outside of Program Files, maybe to plain "C:\Viscera Cleanup Detail Santa's Rampage" It's only a guess, as that sometimes causes problems, but your issues might be harder to discover.

Okay, but won't this make a conflict with Steam directories? By the way, the game runs with x32 config since Steam hasn't a x64 version (at least that's what I think). Could this be a problem too? If it is, how can I fix it? Because the x64 directory of the game has anything but a steam archive so the game is only ready to run at x32. If you could tell me in which directories did the game worked before or where does the UDK search, maybe I can tell you more about my problems, I really want to play this game. Anyway, now I'm at home, but as soon as I arrive I'll try your solution and I will post results (the log too if needed). Thanks again, greetings. |

I think I may have found a cure for you, and you can leave the game folder under steam apps: First find the UnSetup.exe file under "\Viscera Cleanup Detail Santa's Rampage\Binaries\" Download this file: https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/29365870/UnEulaLite.exe Make sure you put it in the same folder as UnSetup.exe, then run it as admin by right-clicking it and selecting "Run as Administrator". Once the dialog is open, click on "Accept EULA". Then click "Yes" and close it. This should indicate to the registry that you have accepted the EULA and it should no longer cause crashing, someone had a similar problem with another UDK game on Steam and I found this solution there, so hopefully this will work for you too. Thanks for the help. So this message appears when I run the EULA: ![]() Translation of the Spanish part: "Couldn't find the archive blablabla the directory" But the program is in the same folder as UnSetup.exe ![]() So I don't know exactly what am I missing. I've also tried to execute UnSetup.exe after the EULA (which lets me accept it even with the error) but it doesn't do anything, and opening it with the Steam shortcut returns the same UDK error. Ouch, hmm, tricky one... You might be right about it not installing everything. The only things I can think of to do, is to either try cutting\deleting your VCD:SR game folder, and then getting steam to install and download it again. Or to somehow move the game folder out of Program Files and into a different folder, like "C:\Games\", as this could be causing problems, mainly with program files being a protected folder, preventing certain things from writing to disk. Beyond that, I'm really not sure how it has managed this, or how to get round it. Espero que trabaja ahora, es muy raro. |

OKAAAY I GOT IT So, messing around with the .exes, I found out that UnrealFronrend.exe was returning an error caused because apparently my .NET Framework was damaged (I don't know the reason). So I just went to the Microsoft site, downloaded the installer and repaired the .NET Framework. Now it is working fine. It appears that there was nothing wrong with the game Anyway, it has been an useful experience since I'm starting in the developing world. Thank you so much for the help and the quick feedback, and now I have to go... I have about 3-4 hours of non-stop cleaning mess. If any other problems appear, I'll let you know. Thanks again! |

I'm having the same problem, CPU AMD FX 4130 GPU NVidia GeForce 650TI 8 GB ram Win 7 Ult. English Doesn't even get to the main screen before crashing. I just bought this game today. Help please. |

You're having the "UnSetup.exe has stopped working" error? If so, try downloading this file: Automatic EULA accept App Place the file under "\Binaries\" in your main game folder, run it then click on "Accept EULA" and then "Yes". Launch the game and see if it works. |

So, does the normal game work? Is it only crashing in the Editor's PIE? If it is still crashing when getting into the game, consider checking if Antialiasing is on. You can find the UDKSystemSettings.ini file in your game's "\UDKGame\Config\" folder. Try setting the following(if they aren't already) and then launching the game again: Code: AmbientOcclusion=False MaxMultiSamples=0 Otherwise, if it's still not working. Post the contents of your Launch.log file here so I can rule out some issues. You can find the Launch.log file under "UDKGame\Logs\" |
