So I cleaned up at Santas as much as was possible. The only thing I couldn't reach was the ceiling.

I'll give feedback for the game as it is, as I don't know what you're adding for the final product.

There needs to be a clearer objective. When are we done? I cleaned up the entire place and still had to leave in shame.

The MVP of my session was the fire. It let me get rid of full trashcans, dirty water buckets, large debris etc. Had there been no fire, things would've sucked.

To alleviate the fire, what is needed is an option for larger trashcans and a way to clean water buckets.

I would've liked to see that you can place the dirty buckets in the back of the Slosh-o-Matic, so it retrieves the dirty bucket and gives you a clean one.

The trashcans are confusing. Are they only meant for biological material? if so where is the rest of the trash supposed to go?

An option to save your progress, please!

The Muckguyver is a handy tool. But I would've liked to see that it doesn't react to buckets and things in the trash-bins.

Don't place stains where we can't reach them.

A way to spin things that you're holding would've been good to have. Even though the straighten function is really good.

I don't like that one has to climb the buckets to clean the mop. If there was a separate action for cleaning it in the buckets, it would make things easier.

To end, I'll just report the bugs I encountered:

The janitors box was knocked over, and opened. When I picked it it up and tried to straighten it out, the lip slapped me and sent me flying, with the box still in hand. But thanks to that I did knock down an elf that stuck in the ceiling(I presume).

Candy Cane clipped into the 'What a Load', started flickering and disappeared.

A trashbox got caught between me and a reindeer leg I was holding and thus it flung me across the room.

Muck-o-matic gives a weak false, blue, reading by the bottom of the stairs leading down to the basement. This also happened at a certain spot on the top-floor.

because you can move most everything, you should be able to pile up presents, stools, even bins and buckets in a pinch, to build yourself up to within reach of the ceiling. by the way, if you're getting stains on the cieling, i'm guessing you let dynamite go off in that room. the blast tends to throw everything, including the glass balls, which leave colorful stains for some reason. you'll probably want to find a better way of disposing of the dynamite, lest you leave an even bigger mess for yourself.

if you're having trouble finding things even with muckguyver's assistance, it may be the case that an item has survived falling outside the world. this used to be pretty rare, but as of the last patch it almost never happens. it's much more likely you missed a very faint, or a very hard to see stain. you can use F7 and F8 ro change rendering modes. one of them makes stains REALLY easy to spot, you can also use the wireframe rendering modes to look for objects outside the level

in a pinch you can also use the command "killnearestmess" in the command console to well... kill the nearest mess. technically you could enter this command enough times to clean the entire level, but that's not very fun XD.

i'm glad you figured out the fireplace mechanic. normally in viscera cleanup you're given an incinerator to dispose of all the waste. to be more festive the devs gave you a fireplace of similar dimensions.

as to your question about the trash bins. they're just there to help you move stuff. in a pinch you can also use buckets.

and you don't have to climb the buckets to use them, you just need to aim your mop better.

really i think the lack of direction is part of the fun of the game. figuring out the mechanics, and having the experience of being woefully unqualified, untrained custodial staff, is all part of the fun =P
