Hmm, forwarding ports on the host computer, firewall and router possible, should make it work.
Failing that, upcoming fixes and updates will smooth out the process and allow you to connect easily through Steam's system, assuming it all goes well.

So me and my friend bought the game and want to play it together but whenever we put in each others ip address it says connecting and then it says attempt to connect cancelled we have tried normal ips and hamachi and neither have worked is their anything else we can do ? he has his ports forwarded aswell befor you ask. |

The only thing I can say is the host has to be the one forwarding ports, but the guest does not. If it's your friend hosting the game, then I'm out of ideas. Frankly, I suspect the best solution would be to somehow use Steam as a means for setting up games, when the full Viscera shows up there. |
