This is an incredible game, no question about that. But It can be frustrating at times. I've got a few hints and tips to share, to help make things a bit easier. Hints & Tips: 1: Never leave buckets of body parts lying around, I cant tell you how many times I've turned around and knocked over a full bucket. To make it worse, when you pick up and correct the angle of the bin, the body parts freak out and fly everywhere. Took me ages to find something to stand on to clean the sections of roof that got bloodied. So don't make a habit of leaving full bins lying around! 2: Don't let you mop get really bloody before you wash it in the buckets. Seriously, you can make a bucket of water last a LOT longer if you wash your mop more often. Try it and see for yourself. 3: Bloody buckets of water can be used to hold small bits of body and bullets. So you don't have to go find a bin or furnace when you find a random bit of skull or guts in a corner of a room. Just don't get cocky and try and stick arms and big chucks of body in the buckets, you'll just tip it over and regret it. 4: The water bucket dispensers sometimes kick out bits of body. You can pick these up as there coming out of the machine, before they fall on the floor. This way you can avoid the machine getting bloody. The Body bins though, when they spit out bits of body, they do it in abundance. This cant be avoided as far as I can tell. 5: Maybe its just me, but I try to collect all body bits in a large area before I even think about mopping. Large bits I carry straight to the furnace, legs and arms are perfect size for the bins and can hold a large amount of them. Again, tip one. Don't leave bins lying around. 6: Wet floors and wet floor signs are a hazard when carrying bins and buckets. I find it best the throw the signs to one side as I go down a corridor for the first time. Save any accidents later. 7: Turn auto run off. You are investing free time into this game and you are well aware that to clean it properly without saving can take a while. You needn't be in a rush, unless your in a completely clean corridor with no bins. Then run all you want. 8: Foot prints are a pain in the arse. To stop leaving footprints, simply jump and mop directly down, looking at the floor as you hop. Voila, No more footprints. Its also a good idea to clean a path to the furnace at the start of your clean, you'll be visiting it a lot. 9: Finally, this isn't really a tip. Just something that keeps me forever keen to clean. I play this at lunch when I'm at work. Everyday the guy who sits directly behind me looks over and says "What are you doing, you've cleaned this corridor every day this week. It took me a few moments before I answered him. I said "Every day, I pretend I'm the same janitor, who goes to work to find that every night, some dude with a gun comes through here, killing stuff and leaving a massive mess. I imagine him opening the door, looking around with a puzzled look on his face, sighing and just gets on with it." I like to think I give the guy in the game more of a identity. As i said, not a tip at all. So you must all have amazing tips and hints, lets get a post of the best ones going here. Got a few more tips for you: 10) Its not all about cleaning up blood and body bits, being a cleaner means you must think in the mind of a cleaner. Cups, paper, empty cans and bullet shells. You wont do well upon clocking out unless you have taken the time to pick up all these, and more, items and placed them in a bin or furnace. Also why not get organised and straighten up some of the movable items, to keep the place looking tidy. 11) DON'T overload the lift with buckets of water or body bins. Seriously, if one of your buckets has no room to move, or is under some protrusion on the lift wall, higher up. Everything in the lift is liable to freak out and fly everywhere. This is EXTRA IMPORTANT to remember when transporting bloody bins and buckets to a lower floor. You don't want to be cleaning the walls of the lift for two hours. 11a) Do NOT stand directly next to, or under the lift's door frame. The player collision box and the collision box for the lift doors overlap by a few hundred pixels. Might sound like nothing but try it if you dare. My personal experience happened when I had the lift full of bloody buckets. I couldn't get all the way in the lift so I closed the lift door and tried to find somewhere safe to stand. Pressed the button and proceeded to the next floor up, only it never happened. My head and body were too far under the door frame. I shot straight through the floor of the lift like post through a letter box. From above me I heard the deafening sound of all the buckets freaking out, Blood flying everywhere. Meanwhile, as all this is happening, I am stuck under the lift with no way of opening the door. I was heartbroken thinking about resetting after my hours of hard work. Here's what I did. I stood on a body bin that had fallen through with me. I jumped onto it and while looking down, proceeded to pick up the bin under my feet, with a bit of wiggling, I managed to somehow shoot myself back into the lift above me like a weird human catapult. Long story short. Don't overload or try an be cheeky with your lift! Insta regret. |

Nice stuff! Haha, I like the part about "getting into the mind" of the janitor. |

Buckets fit snuggly into the tops of the bio containers. I have found this particularly useful in the zero gravity level or in a large clean up where I use 2+ bins and I am afraid of spilling them on accident. To keep "intestines" from wiggling their way out of the bio bins and causing a new mess, use a bucket instead. In Santas Rampage, keep a bucket of water by the Slosh O Matic so when it gives you lit dynamite you can just drop it in and it's defused. |

if you knock over a bin full of stuff, you can right it again by picking up any random object, and using it to push the bin back upright using physics. |
