My friend and I have been playing multiplayer (just picked the game up a few hours ago from Steam) and ran into a few issues. We were having multiplayer issues (addressed in this thread; viewtopic.php?f=113&t=78305&p=109255#p109255 ), so we decided to save the game and have the host restart the 'server'. He saved the game, and then to restart the server selected the 'RESTORE' option next to the 'HOST' option from the main menu. The host loaded into the proper saved game session, however it never seemed to setup the multiplayer server. It never showed up on my screen (I was trying to join) that he had a multiplayer server up. We had him back out and retry to no avail. However, we had the host then back out and just click on 'HOST' to start a new multiplayer session and everything started fine. However, after 10-15mins we began to have the same issues addressed in the earlier linked thread ( viewtopic.php?f=113&t=78305&p=109255#p109255 ). Thanks and hopefully the multiplayer issues are easy fixes! We wanna get a group of us together to be space janitors at once! |
