Post subject:  Some feedback

First thing first: Since a forum registration mess I dunno if this account I am writing with will last

I could have sworn that there was an "Announcement" part in the Steam "community hub".

But that is gone.

What I am really looking for can be put in:

For Gods sake: Make update logs!!
also inform us about the game (update) progress.
Edit2: I get updates and dunno what are the good for, and I am hating it (not knowing what the updates are good for)

The game is good the was it is... mostly.
Things that need to be done:
  1. Better collision:
Its no fun if your bins are exploding or even if the stuff is only glitching through the bucket.
This happens cause the collision boxes, the surfaces, and object itself doesn't match.
That also leads to floating bullet shells.
And also to knock things over even without being near (with the object you are holding).
I know its a ton of work, but it needs to be done.
  2. A way to turn (yourself) more slowly
  3. A way to turn objects in more directions than just "the normal"
  4. A way to reach out.
Somtimes things are really hard just because a few millimeters are missing. Like
    1. refilling first aids
      and
    2. putting stuff into the incinerator.
leads to an mess cause everything is spilling.
Most times it works, but sometimes it doesn't
  5. Highlight things you are targeting (you are about to grab/activate)
Especially when scenes are "messy" you can't tell where are you aiming at.
It happened often enough that when I tried to grab the waste (when it is malfunctioning) out of the bucket machine that I accidentally initiated a new bucket instead of grabbing the stuff
  6. A better feedback at a mission end.
Those notes are kinda funny, but don't really tell one how well it has been done.
It would be good if there is a better way what AND how MANY things you have missed. And also all the things you have trashed without reason.
(the first time, I played the game, I burned everything that I was able to move, including boxed that didn't fit into the incinerator by holding them so that one corner was in... then I have patiently waited until it was gone. And I burned the welder tool, too. [Without closing any holes beforehand, though])
Also time and material usage, maybe.
  7. The usual removement of random crashes, like e.g. when spamming a leaver too often.
  8. Also: Text-chat isn't helping at all. It has to be voice, everything else it too slow.

Optional upgrades:
  1. Career mode.
Do stuff better to get better stuff, promoted .. whatever.
Also do all missions in a row, after coming back to your office use the door to start the next one
  2. New Stuff.
New tools, new waste, new everything
more Stuff is (almost) always better
Edit: How about a screwdriver...doesn't have to be a sonic one... just one to remove plates, toilet seats, and such.
  3. Dynamic stuff.
How about an escaped test animal!
It has to be cached/chased and locked up otherwise it runs around .. through dirt ... leaving behind stains ... dragging around body parts*1) ... making more mess ... and leaving poop all over the place.
My Idea is that the player can't kill it (e.g. with the welder).
Maybe some of them (if there different kinds) can't even be cached by hand, just carefully chased (by coming [too] close / slapping with the mop .. both interactions would / should have different results) into a box.
Then you have to run to a special lever (or a friend helping you with it) cause the animal will not sit still there for too long.
  4. Edit: being able to clean / flush the toilets.
Also making the vending machine toilet seats more sense by making it necessary to replace old ones (dirty / partly broken) with new ones (that obviously includes that you are able to remove them

Edit: *1)= Even those parts you already have put in a bin. Or even dragging things out of the incinerator. Finally kicking over buckets, destroying lanterns, ... in short making everything that makes your mission harder.

Edit2: Dunno if Rooks Keep does use the same engine, but if it does it would be fun to be able to clean up the mess (in Viscera) the players have made (in rooks keep).
So to say game crossover.
