Some old school portable radio (you know, with the antena, knobs and stuff..) which plays some short loops of elevator music or salsa. You can deploy it from the item dispenser, you can pick it up, and clicking it would turn it on or off. You could optionnally have several different music loops to play on and clicking the radio would cycle through the tunes. You place it near where you are working and it would make you a cooler janitor ;) Other players passing by would hear the tune (up to you to define the distance radius on which the radio can be heard)... and if they're not happy with it, they can pick it up and break it by tossing it around or by hitting it with their mop, anything goes. A broken radio would count as litter and should be incinerated. Just perhaps limit the number of radio you can "summon"? else the noise of infinite spawned radios would make the game hellish (though it could be fun :p) and possibly crash the game. Anyway, that was my two cents. It's pointless but... i liked the idea :) |

Even better: How about a radio item which allows you to listen to online radio streams? You could save stream URLs in a file or in the main menu and then you could listen to them. Shouldn't be too hard to implement either. You'd just need functionality for opening an mp3 and/or aac file from an URL. |
