You'd think that you could break the large, oddly shaped glass shards in the cryo freeze area but you cannot.

They are weirdly shaped, and do not really fit into the bio bins. It would be very nice if you could break them into coke-can sized pieces. I would say that each piece can be further broken down to a small limit that is roughly the dimensions (length/width, but of course not depth) of the coke cans, or something similarly small.

It's more a chore than anything else I've so far encountered, and I found myself just killnearestmess specifically on the glass pieces because they just won't fit right into the bio bins.

While we're on that subject, the large aliens in this level are too unwieldy for the bio bins too. I suppose one could use the welder gun on them, but at least let us carry them higher up (Much like carrying haz-mat worker legs, where you can't see the bottom and they drag the floor) so as to avoid a mess while carrying them.
These large aliens, hazmat worker legs, and glass shards are the bane of my existence.

I agree that glass is the most annoying thing in VCD right now, but I have no problems burning alien bits and body bags with the welder. They're nice and heavy, so they don't move around a lot when zapping them. It does take a little finesse (like everything else in VCD) to zap stuff without starting a fire. The spheres of burned flesh are really nice though, because they've been cauterized and don't spread blood if you throw them down the halls towards the incinerator.

Edit: Odd... I don't know what I remember having a tough time burning with the welder, but it wasn't glass. I just tried it again, and it's pretty easy. The glass just vaporizes, only leaving behind a little black smudge like all burned objects do.

I thoroughly liked the large unwieldy alien parts in cryo. It's nice when everything isn't too simple. Carrying / dragging the parts to the incinerator or burning them presents you with strategic options which makes the level more interesting. Do I get the welder and just burn them to globs? Do I start by dragging the big messy parts to the incinerator before starting to clean up? etc. The game needs more of these kinds of issues. I dislike some of the old levels because they're just easy boring guts and stains. Much more tedious.
