Holy crap, guys. New map map looks cool as all get-out, but if you're going to turn the mist effects up to eleven, you've gotta make them less performance-intensive. I've a mid-range computer, and it's basically unplayable. Matter of fact, I had basically the same problem with Cryogenesis: Too much mist is hell to render, especially when walking around. And this is with all the visual settings down to lowest they can go.
About the map itself? It's awesome. Reminds me of Vault 22, which I believe someone on Steam already mentioned, and considering the structure of the room? Kudos for the reference. It's just be great if I could actually walk around the place, instead of teleporting due to lag.
Also, this might just be me, but Vault 22 always frustrated me a little. "What do you mean 'I killed all the spores, this place is harmless?' There's still plants everywhere! They're not even SINGED!"
So... Ya know... "Scorched Earth" from the Santa map would be cool. Nuke it from orbit, if ya get my drift? 'Course then ya run into the performance problem again...
Reduce the amount of running around needed, especially going up and down the elevator. Considering grabbing a bucket of clean water, dumping it, and dropping seeds into it to take upstairs. >.< But, so far, having a lot of fun with the game.
