On Unearthly Excavation, there's plenty of blood in the sand... But I can clean it with the mop. Not only does it make no sense to me that the mop can suck up the blood yet not pick up any sand, this seems like a missed opportunity. Suppose for a moment that you couldn't mop up dirty sand. Instead, you had to dig it out with the shovel, pack it into crates and then burn it. That gives a more interesting use for the shovel beyond burying Sarlac pits and makes the level a bit more unique. Moreover, it gives me a reason to put sand in bio hazard crates, which I currently don't need to as there's plenty of it right next to the hell mouths. Right now, the shovel on Unearthly Excavation is mostly a novelty, a single-use tool for a single job which can only be done with it, especially since you can't dig into the level with it. Making it the only way to clean dirty sand makes it a proper tool, as sand can stain from a variety of actions caused by the player. |

this is a space mop.. it can clean anything especially things like sand and bed sheets |
