Ok, love the idea, love the level, great concept and just in time for Halloween. But there is a slight nitpick, ok, not so slight. It seems, from my 100% play back in beta and the two side games (Santa's Rampage and Shadow Warrior), that you and the physics engine are like Superman and kryponite. Bodies don't carry right, they hang low to the ground and drag, nor do they fit into the What-A-Load barrels with out a major fight as they *just* fit in feet or head first. I can't even begin to count how many times I got a face full of debris and body parts when the wood chipper spat things out at me. Reminded me of the Sarlaks in Unearthly Excavation. Water buckets that spill if you tap them *just* right against a wall combined with narrow hallways meant a lot of spilled water both clean and bloody.
But despite all this, it's still a fun game to play, a lot of cursing when you gently tap a wall and get bloody water everywhere or you get hit in the face when the wood chipper spat back something at you, but I'm still playing it and trying to 100% it. I just hope the physics engine will get much love and attention. I am *also* hoping the porta-lift will make it into Athena and other levels where climbing was needed, and given a boost to how high they lift. That was my other chief complaint, again, physics related, it's can be damn near impossible to climb sometimes. But that porta-lift in House of Horror, with an adjustment to the max height, would solve that issue nicely.
It'll be interesting what other DLCs you'll do going forward. Not Santa's workshop for Christmas, that's already been done. Maybe a shopping mall, the day after Black Friday.
For those who aren't in the USA, Black Friday is the day after Thanksgiving (Which, for us, is the 4th Thursday of the month of November) when all the stores have massive deep discount sales to jump start the Christmas season. It gets to be psychotic in places. Literally, people will hurt one another for that last of what ever the hot item is this year. >.<
