Ok, so I recently got a new laptop that I am starting to download my games on, but when I downloaded and tried to play Viscera Cleanup Detail it launched and the icon came up on my task bar but after that it would stay up and not continue the launch. Also when I close the game, the Rectangle that has the title of the game and picture will not go away unless I reset my game. I have no problems with Viscera Cleanup Detail: Santa's Rampage and Viscera Cleanup Detail: Shadow Warrior when launching or playing. Also when I close the game it says it is still running. I need help to figure this out. |

Weird... Have you tried some of the stuff mentioned on the FAQ here? Specifically things like this. ---------------------------- You can try fixing this issue by finding the "UDKGame/Config/UDKSystemSettings.ini" file in your game's install folder under SteamApps/Common. Once you have the file open(in Notepad for example), make sure the ResX, ResY, and Fullscreen settings are set correctly for your system. If it should fail, try it with fullscreen set to false. This could also be a problem with the Steam install not always installing the required prerequisites. Try running the UE3Redist.exe file under the game's "Binaries\Redist\" folder. If that doesn't help, you may have to download the core ones from the Microsoft website: http://www.microsoft.com/en-za/download ... x?id=40784 Be sure to install the one appropriate for your system(32bit[x86], or 64bit). If that still doesn't work, try manually installing .Net 4.5 from the Microsoft website: Microsoft .NET framework 4.5 ---------------------------- Try some of those in order, and see if any help. |

How do I get to the install folder? I am having a problem finding it. For some reason when i try to open it, it takes my to my browser. Thank you for your continued help! |

Oh, you can probably find it under: C:\Program Files(x86)\Steam\SteamApps\Common\Viscera\ Depending on your system's folder structure, and where Steam is installed. |
