I admit it. I was a cheaty-cheat-cheat. I bound killnearestmass to mousescrollup. I've repented, and want to do it legit, but I can't figure out how to unbind the key. I've looked everywhere for an answer. |

Hmm, your best bet would be to search the UDKInput.ini file, it controls the keybindings. Look under "\Steam\SteamApps\Common\Viscera\UDKGame\Config\" Open "UDKInput.ini with any text editor. Windows Notepad works well. Search for "KillNearestMess". Replace any lines like this: Bindings=(Name="MouseScrollUp",Command="killnearestmess") With lines like this: Bindings=(Name="MouseScrollUp",Command="GBA_PrevWeapon") Then save the file and run the game, it should be back to normal. |

That didn't seem to work... The line still had mousescrollup as previous weapon. I'm not quite sure what to do, other than uninstall and reinstall the game. |

Hmm, odd. Did you search the whole file for "killnearestmess"? This file should be the final list of all bindings that control the commands, so what it has is what is actually in use. It does have several different areas though. Have you tried typing "setbind mousescrollup nextweapon" into the console? Does "verify integrity of game cache" in the Steam client also not help? If none of that fixes it, yeah you may have to re-install. I'd advise you also delete the "UDKGame\Config" folder before re-installing. |
