I found that I should post my log (and specs) on here. Edit: I tested being in 64bit and having headphones in (as done in a recent thread) and it worked for a bit. No lag at all, but still crashes. Tried other maps too OS: Windows 10 Processor: AMD A10-9600P RADEON R5, 10 COMPUTE CORES 4C+6G 2.40 GHz Ram: 6gb (5.99 usable) System Type: 64bit And its an HP Notebook Other info: bought the game on the 20th, I have three "launch-backup logs" which I assume are important, since it crashed 3 times (along with another error that shows up on the menu screen. Closing out that error doesn't close out the game, though). Some pictures of the crashes: http://imgur.com/a/LkE44 Log: Log file open, 09/21/16 22:27:08 Init: WinSock: version 1.1 (2.2), MaxSocks=32767, MaxUdp=65467 DevConfig: GConfig::Find has loaded file: ..\..\Engine\Config\ConsoleVariables.ini Init: Version: 10907 Init: Epic Internal: 0 Init: Compiled (64-bit): Jul 1 2013 15:03:50 Init: Changelist: 1715227 Init: Command line: editor Init: Base directory: C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Viscera\Binaries\Win64\ [0004.01] Init: Computer: LAPTOP-J3S79717 [0004.04] Init: User: Headpats [0004.04] Init: CPU Page size=4096, Processors=4 [0004.04] Init: High frequency timer resolution =2.339359 MHz [0004.04] Init: Memory total: Physical=5.6GB (5GB approx) Pagefile=7.6GB Virtual=131072.0GB [0004.05] Log: Steam Client API Disabled! Hmm, weird. Have you tried running the game in windows 7 compatibility mode? VCD is a bit less stable with Windows 10. Otherwise there are these usual suspects. Note sure which ones Windows 10 comes with. --------------------------------- http://www.microsoft.com/en-za/download ... x?id=40784 Be sure to install the one appropriate for your system(32bit[x86], or 64bit). If that still doesn't work, try manually installing .Net 4.5 from the Microsoft website: Microsoft .NET framework 4.5 |

Compatibility mode had no result. My laptop says I have both of the mentioned downloads. Just to make sure I did it right, I do compatibility to this one right? C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Viscera\Binaries\Win64\UDK.exe If I did that properly, is there just nothing I can do to fix this? |

That is correct, yeah. Really odd.. Are your Graphics Drivers up to date? Is the game's resolution set to your system resolution? Seems the problem may be to do with your AMD graphics card and the Unreal Engine not getting along. It seems to be notorious. Although I can't tell exactly which of these cards you have: http://www.amd.com/en-us/products/graph ... ok/r5-m200 First thing I guess you could try is ensuring that anti-aliasing is turned off for the game. And maybe making sure that Catalyst (Your GPU Control Software) is set to let the application decide what Antialiasing settings to use. You may also want to try updating Catalyst. If none of those work, then perhaps try these: --------------------- Try deleting the game's "Viscera\UDKGame\Config" folder, and then in the Steam client, Verify the Integrity of the Game cache to reacquire the files. It's possible something is corrupted. Failing that, try re-installing the game altogether. |

Setting it to my screen's resolution didn't change anything sadly. And I made sure to turn off anti-aliasing before I started playing. The others Ill have to try at 2am est (crappy internet plan) |

Right I forgot to post this, but I figured out the issue. I don't know what to make of it. So after sitting there looking at the various options, I noticed the autosave feature was set to every 5 minutes. I turned it off, and the game didn't crash. But when I save personally, it crashes. So the crashes is caused by saving. I did the verify thing and it fixed 10 files, and I will be reinstalling it in an hour or so, but what do you make of this? Is it something you think that is fixable? |

Hah, that's odd... Sounds like either windows isn't giving the game permission to save files, or your anti-virus is blocking it in some way. It's possible, with games installed under Program Files, that windows restricts certain things. I'm not sure where the settings are for that in windows 10, but it's something to look into.
