I may be misremembering, maybe I heard about spiritual/magic race on another forum for another game. But until SB confirms that it is not true, I'm going to keep that statement as a possibility.

heres a sugjustion elaberateing the idea Skirth laser pulse gun The weapon would emit a group of 20 or so scattered "laser sights" that are really just really under powered laser beams when the trigger is pressed these "lasers" would temporaliy power up to pain causeing levels causeing damage Secondary fire is to keep the beams powered up for a long period this would rapidly drain power and would best be used for destorying/repairing objects like stationary vehicles,assault objectives, power nodes and power cores change fire modes would turn off the lasers lowering fire rate but speeding up the recharge rate (as well as being sneekeyer) |

I don't get it... how does everyone know about the skrith? Is there some major thing about them in the readme or something I missed? I'm kinda confused... Anyways, interesting idea, but it doesn't seem like it'd fit. |

Skrith prefer melee over anything else, but they do like ranged weapons. I just think that a gun that fires EMPs would fit a human-made design better. |

The UTC, or a new race we don't know about yet. Didn't SB mention a 3rd race somewhere on the forums a long time ago, and it specialized in more spiritual based weaponry and magics? |

I remember him saying something about other races, but the spiritual magic and stuff seems a little familiar, but I don't think it was mentioned by SB. I might be wrong though. I figured thats what the skrith used, but I just don't get when some people (not you UglyPants) just think that the skrith won't use a certain weapon without really thinking about it much. |
