this thread is ment to ponder the posibllities for the next bonus pack heres some ideas i stumbled across from people on the forums here. Ugly pants , bjossi, carsomyr Skirth Weapons -Skirth Heavy Energy Machine Gun: Well this would be a really cool skirth gun. The SHEMG (funny isn't it) would be the Skirth way of countering the UTC's array of Machine guns. The Guns ROF might be a third the ROF of the .50 machine gun, but fire larger, maybe even slightly explosive energy pulses. since the skirth weapons we've used are relitively light and sway alot this gun would have very little recoil. It would have a 100 round ammo clip loaded from the top (like the skirth rifles ammo is) and could hold an extra 200 ammo, it would have a reload time a little slower than the skirth rifle. The slighly explosive energy pulses or the regular skirth projectiles (whichever you choose RS) would be more powerful than the Skirth Energy Rifles projectiles but weaker than the .50 MG. Also its alt fire wouldn't be like the normal UTC Machine gun alt fire, instead when you press alt fire the SHEMG would fire slightly explosive pulses that require two or 3 ammo per shot, also the alt fire can't home in on anything cause its faster than the prim fire and does more damage per shot, while its prim fire, as already said would be the regular skirth energy projectiles. Also for a first the skirth have added a way to control the direction of the prim fire direction by using the special key to activate the tracing energy rounds. they're not as accuracte as the G5 when homing in but are pretty good, but your crosshairs have you be near the guy for the energy to fallow. Credits to Me, Bjossi and Carsomyr -Skirth Sniper Rifle or SSR : This would be the Skirths sniper rifle, as with most skirth weapons ist light and uses energy to fire projectiles only now the projectiles which the SSR fire are fine beams of blue plasma/ energy that travel to their target as fast as the RX7 sniper rifle (only you can see the beam while its traveling to its intended target). The SSR would be able to shoot beams of energy in an almost semi-automatic precision because skirth projectiles are made of energy which don't need to be cocked and loaded and all that other stuff. Beacuse of this the SSR would have much less recoil than the RX7 Sniper Rifle (don't know if thats its real name but you get the point) and since its almost a semi-automatic sniper rifle the projectiles would be less powerful than the BW sniper rifle, it can only get headshots if the enemy is already hurt by at least 30 to 40 health (not including shields). Also the projectiles burn stright threw shields so most of the damage gets taken from the players health not their shields. It's accuracy is worse when not in optical zoom (since Skirth weapons sway when firing), but when in optical zoom its on par with the BW sniper rifle. It would also have a 10 mag clip. and it could have a chance of skeletonizing the enemy. Credits to Me -Skirth Plasma Mine: At frst the skirth hated the idea of mines since they deemed them unholy and a cowards weapons but soon after many battles and many defeats at the hands of the UTC's mines they decided to make their own kind. The Skirth Plasma Mine would work like how the jumping mine works, namely if an enemy walks near or on it the mine with open shooting a plasma mine up (as high as the mine jumps) then it explodes skeletonizing everyone near it in a dark blue explosion of death! Credits to me, Bjossi and Carsomyr Dracone BN778 NOVA - Primary fire is like a full auto gun. Rapidly fires superheated objects(not sure what those objects might be) at a speed about the same as the Skirth Rifle's projectiles, maybe a little bit faster. These superheated objects severely burn whatever they hit, doing about 15-20 health damage each. Not as effective against vehicles. Alternate fire uses an attached rocket launcher that fires a superheated rocket that goes at about the same speed as the G5 rocket, perhaps slower or faster. This rocket, upon impact with a terrain surface, releases the same flames and amount of flames as seen with the FP7 (or was it 9?) grenade, possibly a bit more flames. If, however, it hits a player, the player takes a severe amount of damage (maybe 80-100). If the rocket hits a vehicle, the vehicle takes a huge amount of damage due to the massive overload of heat energy on the vehicle's power source. The downside is that it takes some time to get a new rocket ready (like the time it takes to ready a new AVRiL). BW can come up with a good special fire, I'm sure. Anyhow, for ammo...The max amount of rockets could be like 4 or 5, something like that, and the max amount of rapid fire ammo could be around 150, and when you reload, there's an animation of just letting the gun cool off. So if you fire 25 shots without stopping, the gun overheats and has to just cool down, taking maybe 5 seconds for the coolant system to ready the gun for use again. Would be nice if BW put one of those bars in the lower right above the ammo count so you could tell how close the gun is to overheating. So if you fire like 23 shots without stopping, then stop, the bar slowly goes back down as the gun cools. Rayne870 Fn2000 been playing a lot of splinter cell lately...yeah im a fan of the classics. i got really attached to the sc-20 or whatever it is...anyway the real thing is the fn-2000, its a great compact assault rifle with a great modular style, which means you can have a scope and some kind of attachment. i know we have a very good assault rifle as it is but how about something that is permanently silenced has a scope..maybe 3.5x zoom, and some kind of attachment, something RS original, maybe some kind of taser type weapon that ppl have previously posted about. so if you find anything that you find a interesting weapon for a bonus pack post it here

Collecting information together in one place is a lot more reading-friendly. So that's the reason I think this thread is an excellent idea. Now it's just the question of what should be in the next bonus pack if there will be one, hmm... |

well either some kick as* skirth guns (or mines) or that long bow thing someone thought up with the ability to tag (and hurt) and then after a few seconds explodes gives damage to the guy, or maybe some rifles with small scopes or my stupid G36's (stupid e-gold me hates e-gold, prefer pay pal) |

Woah, 300 dollars? That's a little pricey! It's as much as 6 full games or a PS3! With weapons and engines and everything! Tell me they were complex weapons. |

To buy a coke costs what, a few cents? To design and manufacture a new softdrink costs what, a few cents as well? I don't think so! |

You gotta think, this isn't just some minor change to a mod that no one's gonna notice, this is like putting your own touch to the mod, with your own custom built gun that everyone knows is yours. I think its a pretty fair deal. |

Reputation has little to do with quality, look at EA and Intel. E-gold is probably a very good service, just give it a chance. |

Will do. I'm sure e-gold is probably good, it's just that I already got a paypal account and I don't want to create an account for something I'd only use once or twice. |
