I'd not say it is a copy, but it has similarities.
That isn't really a bad thing, but originality is always a good thing.

No one has even mention an sks or some look alike. that would be a neat weapon, futuristic looking synthetic stock, scope, bayonet that folds back and a grenade launcher, So basically an upgraded Yugoslavian m66. and i know what your gonna say how does a grenade launcher and a bayonet work on the same gun. simple the launcer is on the end of the barrel and the bayonet just fold up into the stock |

Nah, its quite a bit a bit different than the M50, if he's referring to the gun I think he is. Plus, the simple weapons are easy to make, good for when they plan on making more assault rifles sometime in the future. Just because an assault rifle has a grenade launcher does not mean its just a copy of the M50... 
Throw us some pictures some time, Gnome Smasher, like UglyPants was hinting at. People would be more interested if they can see what you're talking about. |

Well ill take some pics of mine and post em up later, its not an assault rifle its a semi auotmatic rifle very mean, orginally based off an antitank rifle, has an effectice range of about 300yds. 10 round clip, modified versions can accept the ak-47 magazine, its about 8 to 10 lbs. not enough rifles in BW. it can also accept a scope looks better without one though. the rifle was invented during the course of WW2 but never saw combat, the russians did not really need another semi auto rifle what they needed was an assault rifle so the ak 47 appeared in all of its beauty and the ak-47 beat the sks but the rifle is still in production today, mainly in china but they made many changes to it not mechanical but changes like instead of milling certain parts they stamped the parts that they could wich made the weapon weaker but these were civilian versions not ones that would see combat. It is a very common weapon in america mainly as a sport weapon. Its caliber is 7.62*39 mm. it has been the target of anti gun activist for a very long time. but the weapon is about 100 hundred american dollars and is very easy to operate and clean. the stock is usualy heavily varnished beach tree wood. ill get some pics of my yugo slavian m66 soon. |

This smells to me a lot like a more refined version of ther persistent M14 idea. And yeah, the M14 and SKS really are similar contemporaries. Also, sorry I've been inactive recently. College. Bleh. |

I wondered why there didn't seem to be so many regulars lately... huh... guess I should be more observant... 
and it looks like he's 3 posts ahead of me... WHOA! HOLY CRAP! How long was I a warlord?! 
I can honestly say that's news to me... Oops... this went a bit off topic... So anyways, I think I'd like the sound of more assault rifles. Just having one is kind of annoying. I think I'd like this one, while maybe not automatic, it'd probably be something I'd use. |

More ARs would be nice indeed, we have way more shotguns compared to other types of weapons, there is even a futuristic tri-barrel one planned some time in the future. |

well the sks really isnt an assault rifle but it could be used in an assault role. The m14 and the SKS simonov are barely alike, the M14 has 20 round box magazine while the sks has a 10 round mag. The m14 has full auto and semi automatic fire capabilities where the sks is semi auto matic. The M14 is 7.62x45 or 54 i cant remember and the sks is 7.62x39. The M14 was based of f the very succesful Garand series of rifle, The SKS was based off an anti tank gun.I think its heavier too cant remeber. |
