I think ballistic weapons should have something like a needle cannon or something like that... Primary Fire, fires a really big needle and you can needle your enemies against waals. But if you just shoot the arm, the enemy gets sticked onto the wall,but lives on.... Second fire could be like the original UT rocket launcher, so you can load up to 3 needles and then fire them... what do you think of my idea? (sorry for my bad english  )

Maybe it would work for the Skirth but the first thing that came to mind when I read it was halo so you might get those people who think BW copied off halo. |

I have been thinking of a such weapon too, and a skrith variant in the later time. I have a fairly good idea of how it would work but I can't make any good design for it though. Nailing enemies to walls is always fun (AvP, Painkiller hehe) but I wonder how fun it would be in multiplayer. |

your needle gun is the same as the stinger the gun that fired tryderium shards it was a needle gun and you wont get halo people becuase UT MADE THE NEEDLE GUN BEFORE HALO WAS EVEN THOUGHT OF it was in the first ut made back in 96,and the stinger was reintrouduced in unreal chamionship series and is now being used in ut2007 |

I just looked at the UT weapons on Wikepedia and it says nothing about a needle based weapon. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Unreal_Tournament#Weapons Alright you kinda confused me there you said UT not Unreal yes there is a weapons that shoots similar to the needler on Halo. |

The Stinger is a weapon found in Unreal. It rapidly fires small tarydium shards, doing relatively low damage. The alternate fire shoots a spread of tarydium shards, doing medium damage at close range. I see nothing about a needle gun here, And i'm a 8-year vet. |

So sorry for the confusion. |
