Description: 3 barreled Cyron weapon. You guys can decide the looks.

Projectiles: The F83 fires sticky rockets that attach to objects and can be detonated using the Special Function key, or by timer, as set by the Fire Mode key. These sticky rockets are a red color, and resemble the shape of a mushroom, where the cap is the sticky part, and the body being both the rocket and the warhead.

Firemodes: Primary shoots a single rocket, where it auto loads the next rocket, and the 3 barrels swivel around to go to the next barrel. Secondary allows for all 3 barrels to load up and fire, but they will auto explode on impact instead of the timer or detonator ways of the primary fire mode. Weapon Special explodes detonator rockets.

Ammo per pack (rocket pack, not clip): 9

Ammo per ammo pickup: 9

Ammo on startup: 18

Max Ammo: 27

Damage: 36 direct, splash damage after that

Rocket Speed: The rockets fly at a speed that of 2x the G5's, but will tend to fly a little drunkenly due to the rocket's shape. Air resistance you know?

Hmm, a kinda of energy rocket that binds to anything, I like it.

Alright, so in a clip it has 1 or 3?

Also, looks like a mushroom? what the heck. But whatever, still is a good idea, though i think the whole weapon model should be very skrith-like with maybe some Cryon additions to it, or it could very well be a whole Cryon weapon.

Still, it should definatly not look like anything created so far, let the devs bother with how it looks, cause well its there mod.

If it is to keep the barrel design, it should definatly be a Cryon weapon and not skirth, Skrith seem (from readings) to be all about either meele combat or energy weapons, while the Cryons are just an assortment of anything, so i think this would work best with them, and it being sticky would make sense from a Cryon weapon stand point.

Sounds like a plan. It has 9 sticky rockets in each pack (not clip, pack). But yeah, we can go with Cryon if that probably fits better. I just gave a general look idea, but of course that can be thrown out the window, although I'd love to see it being 3 barreled. I'll edit my post to reflect this.

Heres a thought: Cryons often make use of "living weapons" sooo....

I wondered what a living rocket launcher may be and I pictured this idea firing large insect-like grenades that grab onto things with their legs before exploding.

Not to imply that they follow things, the bugs could fly around drunkenly and simply land where you fired them

that could work Yoke, maybe they'd be modified bugs that are given a propellant or something that when launched, releases this propellant in them making them streak toward the target, either smashing into a wall/ person (if its real close and doesn't have enough time to stop) and instantly exploding or latching onto said wall or object (if the insect has traveled far enough to latch on to things.) or person then would wait a few second before exploding.

I think in Weapons fire it should have a track and don't track firemodes, so that it could just fly forward and explode or latch on, or get launched, move slower and track whoever was in the crosshairs when it was launched.

Maybe it could come in different styles of ammo;

A insect rocket which explodes in a giant blue ball of energy and insect guts, would cause anyone too close to be burned by the energy-fire and kinda like the flame grenade, create patches of blue fire that hurt if you get it on u, but it only remains for like way less than he flame grenades do when the guy is ignited or just when n the floor. This type of 'ammo' would be a light 'glowing' blue color.

A version where the insect will just splatter onto whatever it hit, causing some damage, but not much, but what it does is it drops a bunch of mini insect bombs which will explode on anyone who gets too near. This type of 'ammo' would be greenish in color. this one would be annoying as heck for the guy who had the insect latch onto him, cause it'd release those mini-bombs onto him at once, causing a semi large explosion which would most likly kill him if he didn't have more than 90 health.

Another version could be one where it is more of a harden form of the bug, in which it cannot latch onto anything, but it does lots of damage. This is because it has a super harden exoskeleton that the Cryon fabricated for it, the bug would be launched and would zoom toward its target and upon impact deliver a substantially amount of damage to whatever it hit, though it has a small blast radius. Could be yellow in color

And another where the insect is one large mine/bomb. This guy will be fired but he won't go far, he will go in a downward arch from the weapon that fired him, once he'd land, he'd latch onto the ground and wait for anything to come near, then upon someone entering the proximity radius it would explode in a giant red and green blast (explosion). He can also be remotely detonated if you have the crosshairs close to where he is and press the secondary fire button .This guy would be a dark red color. Either this, or the bomb/mine insect would be able to slowly freely travel from where it was dropped to points of enemy activity in hopes of killing more enemies (even though it doesn't know that).

The Cryons were soon engineerings the insects 'codenamed Bug Surprise' to be deadlier and more effective then ever after preliminary tests were given the green light.

As a result they came up with a new deadly rocket bug.

The Acid Bug Rocket (ABR); which was a modified version of the old 'energy' bugs and given a highly acidic solution to them, after being launched these guys WILL explode if they touch anything, they are kinda like Nitroglycerin on acid (crack), so they carry this explosive acid compound inside them, with any bullet or any disturbance to them causing it to immediately explode. Special Function will inject these poor guys with even more explosive acid (all next insects will have this on them, either by loading them in having a 1 second addition of injection or not), causing them to swell up to a larger size and to become impossible to launch via rocket style, you have to shoot them like how a GL (Grenade Launcher) does, in an short arch. Pressing Special stops the process of injection leaving you back with the 'rocket' styled bugs.

Firemodes: Primary would just fire one then put in the next insect to fire.
Secondary would cause he insect mine bomb to explode, and the rocket insect to explode while in flight (the explosion looks different from the two)
Special Function would swap the different insects, so you'd be switching ammo types
Weapons tab as i said before would make the insect either try to home onto nearby enemies or not, some versions like the mine-bomb insect cannot home onto anything.

Well thats what i think of this Cryon weapon.

I Hope your reading this soon RS devs, this would be mighty kickass way to bring in the Cryon!

Dang thats an awesome idea!

Seems vaguely familiar to me, but totally unique. I love the sound of it!

Very nice Mr.U, this idea got more interesting

By adding multiple ammo types this weapon actualy sounds like some sort of hive

More thoughts: the weapon (biologically) spawns eggs that can mutate and hatch into the ammo type of your choice.

Im thinking "Zerg" at the moment

That sounds awesome, though i wonder how that would be implemented?

Maybe every so often, the whole guns goes offline for about 5 seconds, spawning a few insects which turn into a few different types of ammo. and these would only give u like 1 or two insects or something.

Or how about the more kills you make with the gun (would it really be a gun?...hehe), the more say insect points you get, which would be displayed somewhere on the HUD, be easily enough to instantly know how much you have, then say when you have like 20 points (that doesn't mean it was 20 kills), you could say press special function which causing the bottom or side of the weapon to open (this part houses the eggs), and then the insects crawl out and then added to the ammo type that they choose (for themselves). But one way to get better insects, is to activate the egg chamber when you have lots of points, the more points, the better chance of getting a powerful one like the energy rocket bug or the mine=bomb bug.

Damn, Yokel, I was thinking "Zerg" all the way through this topic too. This thing could work like their hatcheries, it would slowly generate a basic ammo unit (the little bugs), and each shot would take some of those bugs and mutate them into the shot being fired. Each firemode would use up a different number of the little bugs, depending on that firemode's power.

Starcraft was originally going to be Warhammer 40,000 (but Blizzard corp. was denied the intellectual property)

Since the Zerg are in fact re-emagined Tyrannids your still thinking what we are Kien. :p

Anyway lets not forget this is still a rocket launcher. However the explosive bugs are spawned they still need to behave like rockets.

So far this is sounding like the coolest ammo system ever. I hope OCAdam approves

Yeah, I hope he does too.

I've added a new ammo type for it, (look at my second post in the page)

Honestly, I am a little confused on your weapon idea post up there UP... but I'll go ahead and say you can control the rest of the topic for ideas with your post I guess.

Well i'm sorry your confused, namely my second post is more just about the weapons features and not what it really is.

But hey, thanks for giving me control, your too kind OCA. But if you got anything to say on it, just say it, i won't take offense.

:P

Oh I will, but I prolly won't get any good ideas.
