Bullets going through walls, crates etc, and especially people!
Pretty much every gun (varied levels depending on power) no special scopes, so it won't give you much of an advantage, mainly just for firing through doors/cover/etc.

Possibly combined with heat vision, but that kinda makes the railer obsolete.

Sounds like an interesting idea for some guns, but not for all (however, it would de-emphesise the railgin's uniqueness). Can you imagine your computer doing that many calculations 60 times per second with the minugun? My opinion is that it is not useful enough to justify the added computation load until the average personal computer has a quad core.

Yeah, I nail people through solid windows all the time. Not even the concrete T-shaped things in the Runestorm maps will protect you.

Anyway. It doesnt happen will all weapons, so if you were using submachinguns all the time of course you didnt notice.

Try firing the minigun through a door and check out the bullet holes on the other side. You'll see.

anyway.. many bullets have some sorta penetration.. weaker guns, have less.. silencers have less.. railgun is the biggest of the lot..

It's pretty simple to kill someone through a solid object. All you need to do is keep track of his movement so you can guess where he is behind the hinderance. I've gotten a head-shot from shooting through a crate. Pure luck, I assure you.

Bullets shouldn't go through a solid crate, especially if it is metallic...

What about the corner? That's possible, and the crate wasn't mettalic if I recall correctly...

Corners are definitely possible, and the entire crate if it isn't solid on the inside.

back in 1.7, I killed Xav with the 50cal machine gun when he was hiding behind a static hellbender. Then again, he got a headshot on me when I was using a builder gun and making my own cover.
