Just an odd feature.

add a button that turns your pistols and machine pistols sideways.

Doesn't do nothing, just makes it a lot cooler.

This is just plain silly. You will be drastically less accurate, you couldn't typically fire as fast, and you'd look like an idiot firing it that way.

Military- more accurate, less power.

Could be funny, but its a: 'nah, not worth the trouble' idea

Why not have a mechanism that tilts the entire barrel sideways but leaves the handle and trigger straight.

There you have it, Gangsta style with no risk in ergnonomics.

The way I see it, the only reason I'd tilt any [one-handed] weapon sideways is to do Bandit-Shooting: when the force of recoil causes the gun to move sideways, making it possible to strafe-shoot.

Other than that, gangsta-style shooting is pretty useless...

I have an idea, why not to make function for sidearms to aim your guns in the sides.
You can shoot in two sides at the same time while dualwielding, how does it called ? Gun Cata ?

..anyone know what happens to pistols when you try that kind of stuff? they jam up like crazy due to stress on the ejection of the empty shells

that was a damn good movie...the same styling was also used in ultraviolet as well...pointing to the sides would be neat or at least crossover or something, boondock saints anyone?
