A BW InstaGib rifle would kick ass, the UT99 one was so much better than UT2003/4 ones. If BW creates a IG rifle solely to be IG, it'd feel more fun using it, than take a weapon from the usual arsenal and beef up the damage.

I've had this thought for a while now, and now since we've seen the Magnums and other new sideamrms i think its a good time to shout out my idea. Bjossi's idea a mutator called Ballistic IG, and all players will start with a Magnum with infinite ammo, and one shot always kills. This mut would use the Loadout ammo thing in it, also you could also choose the weapon you want to use like arena. and the enemys like in regualr arena will drop their weapons when dead. And yes i know some will say just to use the damage sliders but those things are a f**king pain in the a** to get back to the way it was. I hope you RS guys can consider this small addition worthy of BW. |

This sounds good, but I think a more balanced way would simply have a mutator called Ballistic IG, and all players will start with a Magnum with infinite ammo, and one shot always kills. |

That could work as well, maybe being able to choose the weapon like arena but only one, i do though like the infinte ammo thing. It seems anytime i think of an idea you just think of a way more practical way to do it. yeah and you could have the loadout ammo pickups their aswell. Bjossi i'm gonna add your idea to mine (don't worry yours is better so i'll let the devs choose and give you credit). |

Would kinda be imbalanced in favor of shotguns and machineguns. Personally, you can kill someone fast enough for my liking already. Takes a fifth of a second burst from the XK2 or M50 to kill someone een at decent range with default damage settings. That's good enough for me. But hey, I've got no problem with more options. Bring it on. |

That was my though too, the best machinegunners and the shotgunners would dominate any map. Better give everyone the same weapon and a choice for no others to make it a fair battle. |

I'd rather have something like the ass-pwning instagib rifle from UT99 (great model, sounds & visuals!) with a modified shieldgun altfire. The shield would only protect you from the front, and could randomly deflect a single shot. Then it would need to recharge for a couple of secs. This would add a little bit of strategy to instagib. |

Yeah both IG ways would be great. I'd just prefer to have a crazy dual on DM-Morpheus withe dual Magnums that are 1 shot kill. |

You could achive that by upping the damage slider, and using the Arena mutator with the Magnums.

yeah well as i said before its a pain in the ass to get the damage slider back to normal. See this is what i knew what was gonna happen, someone (namely Bjossi) was gonna say use BW arena and up the damage slider, i knew it. |

I agree with Bjossi. It's not hard to do by yourself. But I also like RedShift's idea about InstaGib. I'd love to see that implemented. |
