i know theres a mutator for bullet time but it doesnt seem to work with BW so why not make bullet time for bw that makes the same effect with eack weapon including the Rpg
for bullet time to work use adrenaline i know that sounds too orginal but making it an adrenaline combo will make it easy acess to players.

could be cool, i like the idea of using the aldrenline to activate it, the only thing is that while in Bullet time, time slows down (moving, weapons firing all slowed down), so everyone is slowed down but whoever activated it is just bit faster than everyone else, kinds like the FEAR bullet time thing in FEAR Combat (it was Fear Multiplayer for a while).

There are already bullet-time mutators out there that work fine with BW. This is not needed.

well all i know is that i have Monkey Matrix moves, which works like Bullet time but only for the regular UT2k4 weapons, i tried it with Ballistic Weapons and it didn't work.

Yeah, Monkey is the only one I've tried, and it'ss pretty good, so I haven't messed with any others.

hmm.. if its not need.. then its not needed :) i never liked the slowdown Matrix thing in UT99.. but Matrix Moves was pretty interesting :D

Really, i have no clue as to why theirs a monkey in the name, also it didn't really have any matrix moves, by that they mean't the bullet time thing.

The version of Monkey I have has matrix-y moves. . .

You can hover in midair after you jump.
You can dodge in any direction after you jump.
You can wall-walk.
And your view also does somersaults whenever you dodge in bullet-time, which is REALLY annoying.

oh yeah forgot about that, mine has that too. You know what was odd, when i first played Moneky martix moves (when BW wasn't alive... OMFG how could that be, their was a time before BW? OMG), i played it for a few hours than went back to playing with the regular ut2k4 weapons and for some reason i thought the weapon had been modified to fire faster, which never happened, i guess it was just all the slow mo bullet time.

Maybe because the BW weapons are hitscan? Or does the slomo show those rings with hitscan weapons too?

It shows the trails with hitscan weapons. . .

But not the Shock Rifle or Lightning gun, which means it must also check something else other than just hitscan. . .Hmm. . .And apparently BW guns don't qualify for it. Or maybe it's just specificaly coded to just change just the UT assault rifle & minigun.

The shock rifle and lighting gun could be made slomo, but it'd require making "slower" laser/lighting effects. Plus, the slow down would need to be massive from a scientific point of view.

Well, yes.

But I'm looking at it from a coding point of view, and how it could distinguish between different hitscan weapons without being specifically told which ones to modify.

Each weapon has it's own class, so I don't think it'd be much of a problem. But I don't know anything about coding...
